That suits very well, even though you are little misguided in thinking that your power is the best. Everyone knows that the dark powers behind the drabble vote rigging committie are the best (not that I am trying to get back into their favour of course.....)

Cards and stacks of cred chips laid all but forgotten as the Imperial pilots argument raged.

"Fourty four successful campaigns this year alone! How can your princess match that?"

"She doesn't need to shoot up some pathetic excuse for a navy to gain glory. Aisling has brought more wealth to the Empire then your Senator could dream of looti.."

A deafening boom silenced them. Cradling a smoking Meson carbine, a disreputable looking woman grinned. "Sorry to butt in, but I think you'll find my power is the best." She laughed and gestured two young ragamuffins forward to claim the stakes.

Sure. I can do that. The reason I felt comfortable about vote-rigging jokes is because I'm absolutely confident that it doesn't happen.

First and foremost is the fact that I trust all the contestants. Nothing any of them have done leads me to believe they would do anything so underhand. Even that spiel I say about not voting for yourself is just my bit of fun in thinking of new and interesting ways to punish people in a manner fitting to the week's topic.

Secondly there is no point in cheating. All you win is a pat on the back and the job of coming up with next week's topic.

Lastly, it's impossible to rig the votes. After I've put up the poll I can't interact with it in any way.

It's completely forgiveable. It's why the give us all lanyards at Lavecon. They should really force us all to wear T-Shirts with our avatars on them <grin>

It was Simoof what handled all the electronic jiggery-pokery at the event. That was some set up he had. It was like the bridge of the Starship Artemis. The behind-the-scenes view was quite enlightening. All the farting noises he makes are in fact electronically simulated.

All the farting noises he makes are in fact electronically recorded and reproduced. They come from a vast selection of his private (personal) recordings, made over the last 30 years or so.

Stationery Dwarves Warning

Senator Patreus left after debating in the Senate. A master debater, he felt good after beating off his many opponents.
Approaching his car, he finds two of dwarves in conversation.
“You’ve the best power”, said one dwarf.
“Appreciated”, replied the stockier.
“Begone you dimunitive dolts. I am the best power here” Patreus sneers.
At this, the stocky dwarf, grabs Patreus and slams him against the car, slightly grazing the door. Dazed Patreus slumps to the ground.
“You’re lousy power”, the dwarf replies, bringing out his hammer. Shouting “Pow!” he strikes the bonnet, knocking a hole in it. “My power’s better”

You obviously had time to sit down and discuss this subject with Simoof, who I'm sure would've been happy and proud to go over his vast collection of farts with you.

A single power that stands the test of time

Who do I follow and why? Good question.

Why is my one best? I'll let you judge that one.

Professional, quick and agile. We can react to events quicker than others.

Defectors will not be chased down. But you can never return, it's a one way door.

We are a power without borders.

But more significantly we'll never be defeated.

While the other powers WILL come and go, we will always exist in this galaxy.

So who do I follow?

No one other than me, knows what's best for me.

So I am a lone wolf. I cannot be tamed.
