You know there's another thread on the main page detailing a 416 Ly away from inhabited space, interdiction situation happening. It makes me wonder if it's not a bug, but part of the u.a mystery. What if he had the u.a? maybe the interdiction defaults to a pirate because you don't have one but if you did it would spawn something else. The bug being the small percentage chance, landing but finding no u.a to initiate the "thargoid" encounter...
Also it's more than a hunch, in the same kerrash convo about the diamondback etc he says something about commanders being interdicted very far and he giggles about it raising his eyebrows, before talking about thargoids...
(Then his hands spelt out "illuminate" and he winked. AT ME. Tin foil jet fuel )

They are rare these days, but interdictions tend to happen roughly 500 ly from inhabited space. Signal sources still spawn in around 800 ly, but rarely.
If an interdiction were related to the UA, I'd guess that the target would get a special line from the NPC. (You know, like the "military interdiction in progress" or "you don't belong here" chatter.) But given how many people travelled around systems with an UA, I'm fairly certain that there are no unique interdictions targeted at them. Maybe in only in some special area that nobody has been to yet.

The amount of time I've spent, 10-15 hours just yesterday, probably the same today, every day this week and the weeks before, and you can just pick one up in 5 hours.
Sorry, congrats, it's good news, but man, this game is killing me.

Sorry to hear this, but equally as glad another has turned up. I would highly recommend Mobius or Solo as well, and glad Ratking and Wish blend have been taking precautions. You can be sure that we, like the Fuel Rats, have drawn the wrong sort of attention to ourselves and some of the griefers out there would like nothing better than to pwn a UA lolz.
I joined Mobius last night before going to bed. Just waiting for the the request to go through.

Oh only when I have the last UA, I become important? Not that this is back from the initional rush of UA's? Also I know and I do not move around in anycase without someone on my back or front bumper unless it's a short distance and not very player active area.
