having a complain was all i was doing actually venting my spleen so to speak and if you read alot of posts you'll find its not just me me me me there are quite a few of us that are less than happy
i just wanted to make my statement of being not totally happy with what we have as opposed to that which we signed up for,
if your happy with it good for you enjoy it in good health.
i and many others are not .
yup i think your right there ps4 maybe a 3ds version later, i totally agree that new formats equals more money and yes it mostly goes back into the game for further dev fine i have no probs with that at all in fact encourage it.
but there are a lot of people like myself that backed the pc/ mac version that are still awaiting a finished game that has all that was promised nothing more we didnt ask for power play
cqc or whatever its called on the xbox but its there now and soon to be on the pc, dont add more quantity lets have the quality.

It has been a long dark night since the end of beta. I still look forward to what is in store
...but TBH, there is no other game (that is out) that I'd want to be playing right now. I thought The Witcher 3 would pull me away, but no, 1 hr, bored, done. I played GTA 5 through, it was just removed from my hard drive. City: Skylines is a decent distraction for a couple hours (especially when I happen on an un-populated Earth-like and start thinking of cities). Space Engine and Universe Sandbox 2 are good for getting me to sleep (not in a bad way). Wait, what am I even going on about...uhm...right
This game is great, and I still have enough trust in Frontier that the Gamescom announcement will be all that I've been waiting for (or at least some of it). In my fantasy world the Gamma development slice (what we have now) is real and the rest of the cake is not a lie! I hope FD makes it a reality.

I find these somewhat funny, When making criticism i feel it is useful to say what is actually wrong or what you are criticizing. Just saying "Its broken" and not really following it up with anything useful is exactly the reason why tech support is terribly annoying at all sides.
Example being when a program crashes and the user just says "Its broken" whats broken? what are the symptoms, what happened, why do you think what happened is an issue.
Iv seen so many people call things bugs which are not bugs at all. Like "Wear and tare being so expensive is a bug" No its not, its behaving exactly how the devs expected, but it is expensive, which is not what the users want, yes its annoying but it isnt a bug.
Iv personally not had any problems id say make the game broken. The only annoyance is some behavour of the station side UI that causes me to loose my mouse control of the menus that a ED restart is the only way to fix. Iv not reported it because when it happens I dont remember the exact circumstances, like it seems to do with timing.

i take your point i have ticketed ( if thats the right word ) endless errors / bugs i didnt start this thread for it to become a slanging match just a simple statement of my fustration
it appears to have decended to a low level so lets try to raise it above the mire and start again.
in my opinion the game does not work as well on my pc as i would like it to it constantly stutters when leaving stations , when in asteroid belts , when in combat, etc
yesterday while leaving abe lincoln going on my way to galileo station ( after i had left the no fire zone ) i seem to be crashing it the outer rings abe's station hows that not a bug ?
when using auto dock my vulture tried to enter the side of the station dont recall seeing a docking slot there , all this and many many more.
agreed we are still short of the first year of release and things have gone buy the wayside but one of the most important promised or heavily suggested parts of the game was the stand alone version a huge amount of backers only did so for that reason, that was just dropped without a second thought that bugged a lot of paying customers just check the forums

you know i think some people just jump onto these forums to have a dig at anyone who's opinion differs from them.
i still play the game and enjoy it , its not the game i wanted but its what i have so thats it.
i do hope it gets better i have played all versions of the original so i really do want this game to be good lets hope the big announcement is something really special
They aren't all working on the Xbox version you know. They have been employing more people so they can work on different parts at the same time. Your little rant comes across as very childish and if you think it will change anything you are mistaken so stop acting so privileged and get over yourself.
Piffle. He comes over as exasperated and annoyed, as are so many of us. The only reason more people don't have a good rant is because they know the usual suspects, like yourself, will take the opportunity to jump on them. If you don't like "rant" posts then stay away from them. No one forces you to read them.

taking things a bit personal aren't you i don't remember attacking your person, privileged i certainly aint i have to work 10 hours a day 6 days a week on variable shift patterns to support my family my only vice is my computer time which is a few hours a week and often late at night , i'me not a sit in front of the computer all day or watch j kyle eating cheese puffs person i earn my money, aggrieved i am my " rant " is a statement of how i feel and not for you to throw insult at, do i think anything will change yes i do will it be to my personal liking who knows thats a lot of space out there so plenty of room for development , have a good night and dont get so personal its only a game

I don't agree with your OP. I do feel as though I didn't get what I thought I was paying for but I am happy with what I did get and enjoy every minute of the game.
What does really annoy me though is the people that always jump into these threads and try to tell you what you should think and what you should be allowed to say about it.
There is nothing wrong with a good rant and the forum IS the place to vent.
you see this is what the thread should be like as i said i just wanted to say how i feel about the game in its current state without the name calling and you should be happy with what you have posts i'me not happy thats why i posted simples

This game is done. The devs figured they cant compete with SC and its budget and have gone from continued development to a cash grab. Well get a paid expansion with planetary landings to appease the vocal minority and maybe a ps4 version.
Dont hold your breath for the following......
1)Combat and weapon balance.
2) A real economy.
3) A vibrant galaxy to explore.
4) Job payout balance.
5) Ship variants.
6) background simulation.
7) Power Play adjustments.
9) New ships (at least untill the xpack).
10) A viable open mode.
11) Piracy and bounty hunting adjustment.
The list gos on and on. And its sad, this game could have been great.

you know i think the initial "promises" were to much to hope to achieve but that was the baited hook for us suckers to go for, so i suppose we only have ourselves to blame
