For something made principally by a single person that clocks in at 135Mb or so, I think it is a great creation and worth any monies you throw at the guy. Price is low so by my gaming standards you'll get your monies' worth if you're a spaceship-liking person. I got a lot of gameplay out of it but became distracted by IRL, not burned out on the game. It's not Elite-level graphics, so in that regard it could be a bit of a disconnect at first I'd imagine, but it's still pretty good looking.

I like the flight model and the gravitic effects, and the simple yet neat ship-look customization. HUD and controls are decently complex but not Rogue System-level. I also like planetary landings as the flight model changes when you hit atmo, plus the whole "welp did that wrong and burned up" aspect. It's moddable to a certain degree, iirc I replaced some of the HUD with better speedtapes and such. Also, it has Single Player, so that could draw some folks on that aspect alone, though this time around Ima see about engaging in some of the MP servers.

Gonna try and work out my old combat bindings as I have been away for a while and last thing I did was exploring.
Then I need to decide on what to do. Fancy a clipper if the discounts still on, just need to work out how to get some emperual missions lol

Will be mostly playing Total War Attila and Witcher 3. Having a bit of a break from Elite, but of course it is a game I'll be coming back to!

I'll be learning how to use the EDTracker more fluidly while flying, and will likely do some more experimenting with FA Off as well. Between the two, it's like a whole new game and I feel like I need to relearn it from scratch.

It's a full PvP combat loadout, minus what I had to move around to fit a 5A fuel scoop and scanners, so it's jump range is a pretty craptastic 14.26 Ly.

Yes, I took twenty-four tons of guns, dual chaff launchers, three shield boosters, and an SCB to Sag A* in an FDL.

wake up hungover as ive been drinking guinness.cab will arrive at 11.45 to take me to my local club where i will drink guinness and play pool till bout 5.30-6pm,get cab home,load ED...undock and boost into the station wall and blow up again.....then have another can of guinness, then crash.

Would a Cobra not have been better?
I know it would be less in the fighting area, but with its top speed and better jump range you'd have been there and back in no time (assumption on my part there) and if anyone pulled you over, you'd leave them standing.

Yeah, but then I wouldn't have first (also only) place for my ship class in the Buckyball A*, wouldn't have been one of the handful of FDLs to go to the core at all, and wouldn't have hit five thousand new systems on the trip.

Also, I prefer to leave my aggressors in far worse shape than "standing".

Gonna try to get more credits in my Viper by claiming some war bonds. Need some extra cash so I can outfit my Vulture that currently only has small pew pews instead of big pew pews. I make more money in the Viper at the moment so it only makes sense. Other than that I'm playing some poker Saturday (legal poker) with some friends.
