That's pretty awesome, have never seen a power distributor failure before.
Maybe a silly question,, how did you lose your UA? Did it fall out during a cargo hatch malfunction?
Honestly think you guys are on the right path with the jumping with damage stuff and trying to force misjumps..... which is kinda why I want my own UA (and am frustrated I can't play for another 2 weeks.... ),, I can't bring myself to ask anyone to do it.

I'm not sure. Assuming the UA is a key plot element used to progress the story of Elite Dangerous the devs are going to have to solve the UA regardless of our own efforts.

To me that says it is a key to a locked area of some sort, and we have to take it somewhere.

Yes, that essentially. Forcing malfunctions, cargo hatch went, UA lost. Stupid really but I guess those are the risks when you're mucking around with all this stuff. Stupid. =(
Incidentally as far as I can see FSD malfunction just takes it offline. But there may be something there I don't know.

If you shut off your cargo hatch, it can't malfunction during power disturbutor failure. Just a tip if you happen to pull a Mr. Tree and find a new one
Ok so I might be the wrong end of a bottle of red and the king might inform me it's been done, but if it hasn't, the ship's power supply could be overloaded just before FSD kicks in by reactivating a power hungry module taking it all over 100% and perhaps duplicating SS1's overload fire. All seems a bit contrived and complex though.
Anyone tried to com to it with "sevraq" Coz Kerrash used rot 13 for his hint and it reminds me of "say friend and enter"
Wishblend, I thought a little more, with cold mind, and I think that you are right: no, we did not tried it fully. I mean nobody took the UA there, cause it is so far! We just tried to unlock from the gal map. And Kerrash was always saying about going 'there' and that 'they' occupy so much space, more than us...
I think you are all right in saying they will unlock it anyway... next Wednsday
