Any idea on how long the pre-order phase will last? Is the date of release of this expansion known?
I'm not sure I can justify spending its price this month (might have some other stuff to take care of, first); I might be able to buy a voucher this month and fill up the rest in September, but there's no indication to be found anywhere on whether you'll still be able to pre-order with the loyalty discount applied.

So, apologies if this has been asked before, but I have a question regarding Steam; it's been stated that Horizons will come out on Steam "before the end of the year". Will this still be a pre-order or will it become available as Horizons full version comes out?
The reason I'm asking is that it's been said that for a limited time, those who preorder Horizons also get a Cobra Mk.IV - I would really like to know if it will be possible to get the ship through a Steam preorder at some point?

What constitutes premium beta?
I am a Beta backer. I paid £50 for the game in November 2014, so am I a premium beta backer or just a beta backer?
Do I have to pay an extra £30 to get this expansion?
If I do have to pay, is there any discount for "non premium" beta backers to get the life time expansion pass? £130 is a bit too pricey for me

Boo... waah! No fair Michael, I just paid for the beta. Oh well, I wait with anticipation. In the mean time put my purchase money to good use and buy everyone at Frontier Towers an ice cream you all deserve it.
There's nothing to download today, except maybe new passes .. you won't see one because of your (premium) beta (you have an automatic pass with PB, when the time comes)
It's possible CQC is implementing somewhere and maybe xboxers are downloading something for that.

I would also like to know this, I did a search but we only get answers from people who are actually guessing and then there's the usual Steam bashers, would be nice to get an answer from FD on this

Yes! The Lifetime Expansion Pass is available again with the announcement of Elite Dangerous: Horizons. You can find more info on the Frontier Store. It not only grants access to Elite Dangerous: Horizons and the beta but also any future expansions we release.
