4 "All Expansions" i intend even Really big expansions, if not told different...
I have pledged £90 for the standard beta, later bought the premium beta (couldn't resist hehe). So i must pay again for something, Horizons, that i was told i was getting free for lifetime
as mentioned in the kickstarter page?
I don't know what to think...
It's not a big thing to pay something more, not even fotry euros to obtain what i think it will be something spectacular in any case, but it bothers me quite a bit in the case i'm right
and i will have to pay again...

Plz some1 clarify this problem asap. Don't think about me, but think for all the guys/girls who have pledged over £90 and now they feel a little bit tricked (i guess)...

From my perspective, given the current release model of Horizons, the sooner you buy a LEP, the better. Of course, you lose more money because you don't the free-base-game that new players get, but you don't get to play the game which means that you don't lose money in reality (can't be losing if you're not supposed to be gaining anything). So, the best bet is the Lifetime Pass because if ED last for years and launches multiple expansions, you'd still play the game during all those years and pay less.

The only bad scenario for you is if FD doesn't deliver in any more expansion, which I think is highly unlikely.

If I wasn't already a premium beta backer , I would have bought the LEP. Even with my whining about powerplay and background sim, I can't deny the allure of the game. I'm sure I will be dipping in and out of this game for years to come - it's just one of those games that will always be on the hard drive. Also, to see the excitement of the team is pretty irresistible, they seems like a great group who just want to do the best they can, with a CEO who actually plays the games they make. They seem worthy of support.

I have standard beta and looked into the lifetime pass as I thought that wasn't ever going to make a comeback from when it was offered pre release but dang 195$ ......gotta pass at that price.

Well done chaps. Remember that your money will be going towards development of Frontiers latest game - which may or may not be ED - so that FD can keep going and make their assortment of games even better.

I had no options at all and my country wasn't even listed. Support told me to change my address to the UK, buy the package, then change it back... and it worked.

After I saw that trailer with what looked like a Mako from Mass Effect I jumped on board.

Possibly. But then again, if everyone had that mentality the game would have never been made since it completely depended on people "pre-ordering" via the kickstarter to get funded.

I bought a lifetime pass from work. Its nice being in my 30's and having a good job. This is a cheap hobby compared to how many hours I pour into it. cheap entertainment per hour.

Well it is a weeks pension for me but I still jumped in and bought it, fingers crossed that it covers some good expansions and that I stick around long enough to get some return for it. LOL (touch wood)

Also joining the cool kids with beta access, and stumped for a few paint jobs despite my feelings about paying for customisation. <- Spent too much time on the Saints Row series, Bioware and Bethesda games. Theres a lot to be said for being able to make your ship/character unique, I think I spent longer on the SR2 character builder than I did in game

Yeah also for me its a lot of cash on a gamble. Im at 780 hours at the moment. I figure if I get up to 1500 hours after all is said and done I'll have paid ~£180 so effectively £0.12 per hour! Much cheaper than that gentlemans club on Lave Station...
