Did FD remove the patch note that stated the shader warming option was enabled? I don't see it anywhere in the post but on Reddit someone pasted the patch that had the shader warming option part. Also still getting abysmal frames in SC with AMD...
- Fix crash trying to update a drones location post physics when attached to a target ship which has no longer got any attach points
- Fix crash on drones when changing authority fails
Anyway - looks like the problem is that upnp isn't handling more than one machine behind a network (which seems a bit mad as surely this happens at the FD offices all the time!)
Yep - just did extensive testing - two people on same LAN and cannot Wing Up.
AppNetCfg.xml adds this line to each:
<AppNetCfg ip="####IP####" upnp="true" router="6" />
Wings used to be great before 1.3. Is there anything at all I can try? I am prepared to test ANYTHING to get this working again!![]()

pre-compiling shaders is not in this patch.
Perhaps it was an error early in the post and is actually going in 1.4.
No - it's on option to turn off the shader warming on startup - it turns out that it was removed from the 1.3.08 build, but will be in 1.4.
Ok. Try, on one of the machines, tunnelling all your Internet traffic via a VPN. Something like Golden Frog's VyprVPN Free service should do to trial it. This should trick things into looking like you are not on the same LAN. I've accidentally left my VPN connection up whilst playing ED before and have not noticed a difference, but YMMV depending on where you are in the Internet.
Is it possible for the updates to clear active conflict zones? Was one in Iota Hydri this morning, but vanished after the updates?
Why were merit totals changed for Midpar and Ewah in Pranav Antal space?
What is going on about the german translation? Nothing has changed since the first beta of PowerPlay! I have had created a big bug report about this and I would like to know if a complete and corect translation will arrive soon(tm) ?
There are no minor factions in a state of conflict, so there shouldn't be any conflict zones in that system.

That is an excellent suggestion, and could be tied in to expanded Salvage possibilities as well.Would it make sense to replace Conflict Zones with Debris Fields while a system is in a state of post-conflict cooldown, as a cue?
Because someone was cheating and was banned and their credits and merits removed.
