I must say, that Hathor goddess has a lot going fo her: http://www.ancientegyptonline.co.uk/hathor.html

Goddess of the Milky way, born the day Sirius rose to the sky, married to Sobek, friends with Bast, represents Pleiades in the form of the seven Hathors and lots more.

Read the page. Good stuff.

I have to say, sometimes you sound like you've had a bit too much single malt, and sometimes you make more sense than ... well most people on this thread :)

I'm intrigued: do you have a proposed itinerary for a recently acquired UA?

I like the geometry angle, i originally thought three or four UAs together would open up the thargoid stargate but i can see its five that we need now.

And give them some healing waters of shintara, and a biscuit to dunk in it.

How about we don't open a pentagon shaped gateway? I can't believe anyone thinks that's actually a good idea. What are we Union Aerospace Corp. execs here?!?

What could possibly go wrong? The UAC is at the forefront of technological research, unhindered by those things people call "morals". Got a hell of a safety record too! Haha.

Well - I enjoy both single malt and reading.

As for itinerary, I have no answeres but I have I some interesting 'Egyptian' systems:

- Hathor system :) Unexplored. Zero population. Lots of stars.
- Khepera (Scarab/morning sun god) system. this has the funny 'Very Horizons' station.
- Imentet system. First goddess in the book of gates. Welcomes the dead Ra to the underworld.

Both Nun and Nut systems may be worth a look.

- Sirius? Is there anything left to test in Sirius? Sirius B?

I don't realy know, but I think there is some kind of link here. Scarab and all. It's adding up.

I don't know how some people have done 12 hours of camping at the black hole.

There is just something not right about the sort of person who would camp out for 12 hours around one of the most devastatingly powerful forces in the universe and not skip a beat. In this case also how can you stand hearing that bizarre warpage for 12 hours?!? it must drive someone nuts!

Ok shades of Event Horizon now come to mind.

Add the name of the new buggy "Scarab" which comes out in the "Horizons" season. And a remarkable reference to the fact that dung beetles (scarabs) will go about harvesting their dung in straight lines using the milky way as a reference for their activities.

See interesting article also amazing the planetarium and cardboard hat experiment.

Add Mehen system - the Egyptian snake god.

Nor I - been sitting out here with Macros in a wing in Mobius for about an hour and already bored. Hardly anything popping at all. I'm heading back to the primary, just to avoid falling asleep, while he and Peter hang out at the BH.

Thats the right type of holy scarab, by the way

Here is another idea:

Sirius, it is the key to the "nile",
when Sirius rises, the "Nile" floods allowing passage and transport on board of ships.
Now the "Nile" is depicted as the great river "eridanus" on the stellar map, where the spring is in the Orions and the end is Achenar.

Sirius has been tested?

Also note, that the UA resembles an "Ankh", which is also the key to the nile.
If you look at the pods you posted (@Han_Zen) you see a straight line coming from a "cross" to end in a "delta" which might resemble the nile.

I totally hoped on grabbing an UA, but i seem to have no luck, and certainly picture more interesting stuff to do in my spare time,
than to hang around a boring system, spending hours on the hunt for this item due to crappy RNG.

3.5km (https://youtu.be/R-IprRDdT-0?t=2m28s). After scooping, I approached to 1.5km before I was warned to back off, which I did.

Yeah.....but I mean one that jumps in and you can approach without getting shot at.....otherwise I would have already flown over to Sol

For the heck of it, I did a flyby :)

And how did it react and such? (hopes that it tries to jump away)

I'm pleased to be able to report that after hanging around HR 1185 for a couple of days, I have taken possession of the UA "Uri". It was found floating by itself at 16:15 today in a SSS 0.11 Ls from HR 1185 B.

Uri...............................we seriously are going on with this naming thing? Soon you guys are going to be naming mine some long living name from a movie or something.....oh wait.....no ignore what I said o_O

maybe........but at this point we've already done that and still nothing.......anyone got a particale comb?

Third times the charm :)

Please I hope so.....it took us 3 months to get through the first thread and only one-ish? for the second one......at this rate this one will be done in under a month and we'll be on the forth......we might even make it to the 20th before horizens comes out and they tell us about the UA....

PS this took me two days....to comb through......and in reply to most of the things said of suggestions for tests.....I say CHECK THE WIKI and if it's not there pm me....then I can add it to the wiki if it's not there but that's if it's been done, but again I will find it hard to do test from here due to just the mass amount....and the wiki for me is starting to become hard to understand as to what's been done or not as it has parts saying who's taken it on but no resualt....and some tests are impossible to do....due to game machinics....like jetitioning from witchspace which your locked out of the pannels....

If anyone is feeling adventurous and wants to know if the black holes have anything to do with UA spawning, try out HIP 63835. It has 3 black holes, two of them very close together. I was exploring the system before we really knew much about the UAs, and there were SSS spawning between the 2 black holes. With an exploring setup I was too nervous to jump in them. I mentioned this system in the first thread, and it was dismissed as just another system within 500 ly of civilization with random SS spawns. That might still be the case, or it might be a source for the Empire UA convoys.

I patrolled HIP 63835 tonight for around 90 minutes, between HIP 63835 C and D (the black holes) from around 22:00 until 23:30 BST. I got 5 SSS's. Three of them with pirate scum. Two of them with T9's and Anaconda escorts. I came better prepped this time, with a cargo scanner, so I was able to scan the T9's. Neither one of the transports contained UA's, just ordinary commodities. I'll give it try again tomorrow.

I haven't tried the conflict zone variant. I've never seen that jump-in in-person, only in YouTube videos. No clue where to even find one.

Sirius has mostly been tested. Not sure about Sirus B.

Ra and Atum, the two other aspects of the sun are also possible systems.

Two of of the three:

* Imentet - https://youtu.be/gV8XWgJ7IDg
* Khepera - https://youtu.be/w-XzGLqSeFE

I headed back to Lave, searching for the missing moon. Checked around Planet Lave first - http://youtu.be/H9P5iCAUio4. I'll search Warinus & the asteroid belts later tonight, though I'm dubious.

You are a machine :)
Thanks again.
