I slowed down the purrs to look for hidden structure a while back. Didn't count the peaks but they are too uniform to carry any meaningful information in my opinion.

My present take is, regardless of what the 4th signal is saying, it's now missing. Which should indicate something.

But there is a UA that is degrading that is not emitting a 4th signal. The 2nd video of the UA in HIP63835D is degrading, but there is no 4th signal.

TLDR. Whether the UA is degrading or not, there is an example of each where the 4th signal is not present.

Hah sorry that's something I don't know, I've been more looking at how they group and stuff rather than individual purrs. I've always considered the purrs to just be either high or low (obviously with the pitch increasing over time).

Aarhgh! Just spend about eight hours in the last couple of days in the other systems of the Pleiades to try to prove that it's the region, not just HR 1185 (or disprove), including several hours around Maia's black hole..
Jump into HR 1185 one more time, head towards the black hole, see a SSS, find a Unknown Artefact.

I know anecdotal evidence isn't, but at least lady Fortune seems to whisper in my ear that HR 1185 is somehow special.

So if you want to put multiple UA's together, I have another one. I'll call it 'Ernie', since it is mocking me.

Yeah im just trying to find things others may have missed, after 3 days of searching in the last two weeks and finding nothing at all im stuck with picking thoughts out of me head and trying to get somewhere with this.

The hole page is quite Dark Wheel like, except this guy thinks it's real :)

I wonder how much of these ideas FD has used.

Nice! I'm just leaving Ngurii with some Soontill Relics, going to sell one at Lave (don't have the Alioth permit) and then head to Sol with the others if anyone wants me to bring them along.

Question: How quickly after you jumped back in did you run into the UA?

So HR 1172 and HR 1185 are both Class B. The latter has a bunch of T Tauri and a BH but the former has neither. What class were the other system main stars that the UAs were found in? I don't have system data for Timocani and some of the others.

My experience in HR 1185 points at first SSS spawning not long after jumping in. I tried jumping out and in, and could get a SS within minutes. Not necessarily a UA source, mind you.
