I am having an issue with TCE, it all loads up fine. I start the game then i start TCE, but whenever its loaded up it says waiting for elite dangerous please enter the game. even though i am in it its not detecting it. Anyone else have this issue and know how to fix it? thanks!

None here, but i limit my FPS to 60.

If you have added the verboselogging="1" entry yourself into the appconfig.xml, please remove it and start TCE again. Afterwards load ED and it should work.

Here a little step by step list for the "WAITING FOR ELITE DANGEROUS" message:

1. Check, if the detected paths for your AppConfig.xml file and the NetLogxxxxxxxxx.log file are correct.
2. Check the AppConfig.xml file, if there is the VerboseLogging="1" under NETWORK.
3. Start ED alone, till you are in game.
4. Exit ED and start TCE alone, without going into the game.
5. TCE should now display your last record position. Start ED now till you are in game.
6. Play ED.

Background:
The waiting message comes, if TCE can't find a position data in the NetLog file. Each start of ED creates a new NetLog file. So check after start ED, if a new file was created in the NetLog folder. If there is no new file with a date/time stamp, when started, it is the wrong folder.
TCE looks into the NetLog file to find "SYSTEM:" entries. That entries are only written into the log, if the VerboseLogging="1" was made at the AppConfig.xml file.

TCE Setup Update (V1.08) released:



Changelog:
- Fixed a bug with the TCE standard language selection, which value was not written into the TCE.ini file.

Note:
Installer and non-installer version of TCE V1.47 was updated with the new setup and TDM V1.06.
You need only this update, if you wont download TCE V1.47 again and without using TDM for older databases.

Hey Eventure just installed the latest updates great improvements, but I cannot seem to find the hotkey option to hide\show TCE did you get rid of that feature?

Have just installed latest version and did DB transfer, after adding a station and going to scan commodities I get the following error.

Forgot to say am now running windows 10 if that makes any difference, and English UK set as default language

Some users with Win 10 having this issue, please look here to resolve it.

Hello commanders,

with the next update comes the full translation into german, french and russian language of TCE. I am nearly finished with the german part, so i need your help in translating TCE to french and russian.
Because EliteOCR cant read russian language, the game language have to stay at english, german or french.
I prepared the language file with about 450 words/sentences. If you like to help in translating and beta testing, please PM me.

Having a couple issues.

1. Add Star System - the reference star 2 is not found in the game search bar. I've tried numerous. Don't know if I am formatting the star information incorrectly perhaps. For instance COL 285 SECTOR QX-K C8-16 is not found by game search engine in map. I tried many different COL 285 sector systems listed in the reference star list.

I changed the reference star to Mislika (a nearby star), but it is now showing my LAST KNOWN STAR SYSTEM - Jaroua (currently in system) as being 88.22 LY distant.


2. If I try an add the station I get an error

Please tell me, what name the star system have, you tried to add and the station too. I will try to recreate it.
All names of stars comming from FD itself, but there are some missing or misspelled.

The Name of the system was Jaroua, and the station is McCool City

The system I was trying to put into the star map search bar was COL 285 Sector QX-K C8-16. At least this is what was in the Star reference.

The map thing could be a an FD thing. I was also trying to find Ariel and the star map centered onto SOL. Even typing in systems I can clearly see on FD's map, the map was not recentering to the searched system.

As a suggestion, dont take a reference star close to your position, because the results of calculation is quite inaccurate. Take one far away from your position.
