Just a query on my first beta experience, I seem to have reverted to an earlier period of my ranking with lwr ranks and different cash reserves then I have in the full game. Also the ships all appear to be full price and instead of the 100 crds that I expected to be the case.

Same issue here. Bought LIfetime Pass recently, but Beta download does not show up. Updated Launcher already and tried Log off and Login with re-authentification.
Looking forward for a fix.
Mhh interesting changelog, but the PP change is a bit strange...
i mean...it is an indirect nerf to kinetic weapons (since cannons most viable use was shooting the PP), and there was no change towards them (more hull damage or something like that)
So does that mean that Lasers are now the one and only viable weapon?

The player data is an import from a while ago. The ship price is probably an out of date cache, we'll give it a poke.

My X55 is broken at the moment, the controller settings don't seem to be working properly for the XBox controller - I just tried flying keyboard and mouse and I'm scared

If you bought before the game's release on PC, you have standard beta. I bought it in September, no prob with any betas

Thanks for the CQC update and tweaks. I see though that VR users are lacking any love ! So still the same issues with DK2 !
Kinetic weapons do more damage to hull than thermal ones. If you can't just snipe the power plant anymore, your damage output against hull should become much more important.
The railguns would if I could aim them straight. Give me a gimbled Rail!

So could we have a spinning Condor or something in CQC when it's searching for a match? Perhaps a dancing Princess Aisling? It would make kibbitzing about it here so much more memorable.
