I don't think it's a bug, but a feature. If there is a bug, it's in the massive delay between vouchers being turned in and the result displaying for every player. Apparently, clearing the cache didn't even work for Arkhanist last night.
Delay should be fixed too. But we can override it by the one tone test. Ninja undermining is a bug or pure design or... Doesn't matter how to call it, its something that shouldn't exist. Its not "by design". If we can see fortification/undermining status than it mast show actual values. May be which some delay, its acceptable for me. But not show nothing else that someone want to show us until last hour.
If we can't fortify everything, then it deserves to be undermined like it was this week. Without fortification, these control systems will not remain loyal to the Senator. A result like this is precisely what FDev has always hoped Power Play would be. Not solid control blocks, but massive turmoil every week.
I disagree. Imagine that all the other powers have disappeared for a while. Nobody undetermine us. Whether there is something in game mechanics forcing you to fortify everything? No. We need fortification only for two reasons - decrease deficit of non profitable systems and to prevent undermining.
But if we unable to recognize that somebody undermine us, nobody care about fortification. Because we don't want huge surplus. We want only enough surplus to prepare one or two systems. We want it to override preparation bug that we discuss later. We can control more or less expansion to one or two systems, but huge surplus mean uncontrolled expansion to the system we don't want to expand. That's why I stopped active fortification at the end of last circle. At 0:00 GMT (time when I going to the job) it was everything just fine. +300 CC expected, there is no undermined systems. And what I see at a forum during the lunchtime? Surprise!
In two words: as there is no any NPC forces that constantly undermining every controlled system, number and ability of pilots has no connection with number of controlled systems if we have enough supporters to stay against undermining hostiles.
But ninja undermining is exist. And to stay against it we need to fortify everything. For this ten times more pilots and time are necessary, than it is necessary for our enemies to underetermine systems chosen by them. And every circle end will be surprise. You fortify everything, but nobody undetermined you and you have 1000cc surplus and uncontrolled expansion. Surprise!
If all powers will start to use ninja tactic, we all will seat inside small bubbles of systems we can simply fortify, trying to be on first place for a while. Maybe its how FD planned PP, but I don't understand the aim. Is it some kind of social experiment? Nobody have chance to win or even to dominate for a long time, but look how its funny they trying!
Hahaha! As for me, I'm tired of this. I'm not going to by horizons until FD fix it. I'm voting by my money - fix it, or play in that game by yourself.
