No, wait for them to get a minor faction and undermine / wipe it off the face of the map, once their minor faction collapses and gets replaced by an AI faction its gone forever I believe.

Until then keep dumping alliance bounty's on Leesti. I might also steal all the toilet paper too from the station, but I need to see where the camera's are placed first.

lol I doubt code is that stupid to start/raise it's own faction with how negative public opinion is for them.

But anyway, why wait on something that may not even happen? Just go after them directly today?

You miss the point, assuming there was such a group around I may join Open to support their activities (at least on occassion)... "may" being the operative word.

Many players/groups already do not support the activities of CODE and the like (especially do not support disruptive activities such as those of the Sag-A Prowler and the perpetrators - CODE or not - of the Hutton Incident), so this could be more like a Neighbour Hood Watch loose affiliation of existing (perhaps PP-opposed) groups that co-operate on certain targeted operations as well as perhaps a group in it's own right.

I am already aware of at least one group that co-ordinated a certain degree of opposition to at least some of the less desirable behaviours of the perpetrators of the Hutton Incident.

To the OP: CODE already tried to something on pve front and it was called Archon Delaine power. Short time after the CODE joined the Delaine group, most of the people in CODE get it really fast this: it's a pve fight and CODE love pvp. The last nail in the coffin was the cytoscrambler, one of the most useless "weapons" in the game.
Now after this pve failure, do you really think CODE will try another minor faction, power etc? It's pve at core, they already crash and burn with Delaine, and boring too boring and meaningless for pvp people.

I disagree, people had to submit their applications months back in Zac's thread, do you really think they would not go for their own power. The opinion really changed last week at Hutton, their application should be in and filed, and they are that arrogant they wouldn't even care if it had to be filed today, I also believe if you miss the date its too late, not a hope they would miss it.

So yes I will do everything possible to gather an anti code army and take them out in solo & groups, I want to ensure their minor faction is wiped from the game forever.

All Alliance bounty's will be dropped at Leesti, that's all that can be done for now.

You don't expect me to interact with them do you? sod that! I want to eradicate them, not have coffee & a chat, they had their chance.

My understanding is if you don't name your power now you are already too late, if I got that wrong please correct me, if I am right people either have a minor faction or they don't.

If there is a code minor faction, I will grow my group to destroy it*, if there is not one I will laugh and say I can't believe they missed it, and then wait for the next time FD allow a new minor faction and do the same again.

* I will do it in solo or group, I will undermine everything they do until their minor faction has been eradicated and there is no chance that it can ever return.

RP off .... they don't give a crap about RP, its an excuse for them not a preference!

In short i think CODE will never bother with a minor faction, so you undermine what?
Sorry to rain on your parade but, you want a pve solution for a pvp problem. After Delaine failure, i reapeat myself again, i don't think CODE ever will try pve.

Being a pirate group means a lot of hate. Comes in the job description, if you don't believe me check the history records about the real pirates.

That's just the thing that makes them laughable, at least to me. There's no "code" or "standard" they adhere to; their descriptions of their "actions" change all the time. They are what my grandma described as "agin' it" people; contrary for the sake of being contrary.

When they "fight" they make sure they out-arm/out-number their opponents, particularly shieldless trade cows, which they then destroy whether or not the trader has delivered swag (and proving the lie that they are "pirating"). They think packing a ship with SCBs and then running when they've popped the last one is some kind of awesome combat talent or tactic.

I'm going to enjoy seeing what happens when they try CQC and come against some comparibly-equal players. No tricks, no gimmicks; straight dogfighting. I know who I'm putting my money on.

Worst case you may not get to annoy CODE, but will have new friends in the game, and the fun of organising a BSG attack.
Best case and you annoy CODE.

Either way, I cannot see a lose for your little endeavour - remember its about fun!
