So....commanders....how do you actually fly the python?
Did quite a bit of RES BH recently, but I'm having problems with smaller ships. I had wings of 3 eagles/adders eating up half my shields, just because it took me forever to line them up, while they constantly kept me under fire.
The best solution i could find was 3-4 pips to engines, pitch up, while pushing down with vertical thrusters. This puts a little distance between us, but also puts the target in front of me and gives me a short window to unload into it's face. Switched from a vulture, so I kinda got spoiled with that awesome handling.
I really don't want to start using turrets, because i find them no fun. Currently I'm running 3 x class 3 (G) beam lasers + 2 x class 2 (G) multi-cannons. Only got B6 thrusters, but I don't think fitting A6 will make that much of a difference.
All suggestions are welcome.
