You may not like some of my posts or agree with things I've said, but there is no need to send me emails like that. I'm done with you, done with the forum and won't bother playing Elite online. Wow. I have no idea what has been going on, but may I suggest you contact Frontier (I would have said email Ashley, but it's now email Mark Boss) and forward the offending emails to them.

Yes - if you know who they are on the forums would definitely report them - though I wouldn't be surprised if they used an anonymous email.

This kinda worries me about the demographic of ED. I wonder how many older gamers are going to be new to the whole experience of on-line gaming, totally unprepared for the kind pond life that it invariably attracts? Alpha is closed to anyone who can't afford to stump up £200, and probably doesn't appeal widely beyond the original game's fan base. That makes it reasonably tame compared to other on-line environments. It'll get a lot, lot worse once the doors are wide open and the word gets out, so it concerns me that expectations will need to be adjusted. That's not to say that people should just live with abusive behaviour, but it is inevitably going to happen.
If ANYONE is getting abusive behaviour online, either in-game or just generally being targetted, please feel free to PM me in total confidence and I will advise and suggest how to deal with it properly. You will be happier afterwards.

Yes, I am, maybe because this forum is a niche corner of the gaming world and you'd 'hope' that kind of riffraff wouldn't manage to migrate their venom here...
But yes, it is the internet in general, and it's full of faceless keyboard warriors who'd probably crap themselves at the thought of actually facing someone and prefer to dish out their childish bullcrap from behind an IP address...
Sadly I'll agree with you that it'll get worse... not just for this forum, but everywhere online. It's bad enough already
