^^^This. Seriously. The community is weaker for losing people to 'anonymous' bullying. Forward the e-mails to Mark, expose the bullies before it happens to others.

Remember, the majority of the community here stands with you against them.

Wow, so sorry to hear that... I agree with Psykokow... Talk to the mods, and, if there's anyone out there doing this stuff to Bruce think how you'd feel if you got this kind of treatment... Appalling really and not in the spirit of things around here. Ashamed of you whoever you are

Or they simply might not care or consider it some small victory to elicited such a response. Strange, but some people are like that.

I echo the thoughts of other people here Bruce. I would ask that you consider passing on the e-mails you have received to FD and see what they have to say on the matter before giving up on Elite.

Wow... I'm shocked that this has gone on /here/. This has an excellent community and the fact that some people have taken it beyond discussions in the forums on any topic for me... is absolutely sickening. Shame on those responsible who I've noticed haven't had the courage to say anything in this thread.

Real brave.

Allegedly. Not being funny, but we only have one side of the story. Let's imagine that Bruce did some really bad stuff, someone responded, and now Bruce is making them seem like pariahs in here and everyone is laying into them and wishing seven plagues upon their heads. How would they feel, as the aggrieved parties?

Likely? Probably not. But without the whole story, it's not for us to judge. That's why moderators exist and why the forum has a mechanism for raising complaints. Public posts are not helpful or needed.

Equally by not naming anyone or going into detail it is clear it is a expunge, an unloading, a blurt and a need to get it out.

I'm good with that, and if he does report the people responsible then great.. other than that we're pretty much done here.

We are all against such behaviour as suggested in the OP we've shown support for Bruce.

Thats all we can do... *BIG TICK in the DONE box*..

Let Bruce do what he needs to do now.. and lets get on with ritually killing each other in alpha or creating threads galore demanding beta soon or at least a date :D

You are not wrong. But Bruce expressed himself here. Why the others do not make it if they have nothing to blame themselves?

People don't generally stick their heads above the water when there's a lynch mob out.

Not saying that it didn't happen like the man told it, but none of us can know one way or the other. Best to report any dubious behaviour to the mods and let them deal with it.

In all cases, me, if I have nothing to blame me, I do not agree to be accused wrongly and I quickly react to defend myself. So far, the others do not make it. Perhaps, they did not read this thread ?

Some people don't like to air that stuff in public, and some people will be scared of being lynched.

Or perhaps they're guilty as charged. Who knows? Best for the mods to deal with it ;)
