I wish I never lived in KC...had Fiber, was in one of the first Fiberhoods.
Now I've moved across the state into Charter Cable land...I get 100M but man, it isn't the same.
Now, when it comes to BBQ, STL just doesn't compare....miss Arthur Bryant's BBQ Sauce and Oklahoma Joe's ribs.
I envy you mid-westerners and your awesome BBQ. How about we setup a trade deal? I'll ship you 100 tonnes of Dunkin Donuts coffee for 100 tonnes of BBQ ribs.
Not a big coffee fan. I prefer my caffeine the way nature intended it - cold and full of bubbles and sugar.
well... we DO have better pizza then you guys. How about I ship 100 tonnes of Pepe's pizza for 100 tonnes of that awesome BBQ I've had only once and immediately had a vinegar stroke.
Dorset here in the UK would like to challenge that claim!![]()
Note to developers - this kind of thing would make for a cool mission template.
Back in the 80s I briefly lived in LA and remember reading a KC BBQ review in a paper there. A friend of the reviewer had flown back to KC, went to Bryant's and flew back with a pile o'food to show his friends how BBQ is supposed to be done. I tried LA BBQ once - never again.
Same here. I should stop reading something like that during lunchThe one I went to was some kind of pig roast back when I was in my teens. I haven't been out there since, but man was that a good time. I forget the name of the place (it was in Missouri) but the entire inside was wood and you could smell the meat slowly spinning, dripping, on the spit from a mile away. And the mac and cheese and collared greens? Wow...
Edit: Sorry, definitely not Elite related - but now I can't stop thinking about BBQ...
