Love the ejecta lines radiating from it.That giant impact crater on the right side of the planet is EPIC.
I haven't seen any improvements in graphics in our current game season since its release in 2014. Why should I expect it for Horizons? Planets with atmospheres are not planned for Horizons and we don't know when we'll see them (definitely not before the end of 2016). Volcanic planets will be a new feature - they will look different and amazing from 300 meter and above point i'm sure (this video in 0P proves it). Not so sure about up-close view - maybe they plan to make it look great right before release in a few weeks time. I'll wait, don't want to get my hopes high and get disappointed like with current game. The long term plan is to have everything from lifeless rocks to "earthlike" worlds with vegetation, wildlife and cities all over the surface...I'm pretty sure they plan to constantly improve the look across the board.
Really looking forward to seeing active volcanism later in Season 2!![]()
hahah no and I don't care. I have a Viper, Clipper and also a little Hauler which I love very much.

Cant wait to see a poppulated planet.
I think it seems weird because it's taller than normal so that the SRV can come out from underneath it. I suspect the same for all smaller ships on planets.Very nice video. The landing gear on the Viper seemed weird, extended at a right angle from the ship's hull... Maybe it extends further to adapt to the irregular terrain on planet surfaces, or maybe this is placeholder since this is the new Viper...
Really excited to finally touch down!
