Okay here's the mission. Not from me got this from the Mobius group. I did not screenshot mine

One would hope that UAs would get some more 'recognition' in-game from Bulletin Board missions rather than just being dealt with solely on here and reddit. By the same token, though - since BB missions never have any real effect other than on the influence for the factions involved, I do wonder if such things might be a bit of a waste of the mystery, which is possibly why we haven't seen them till, possibly, now.
The thought of picking up and doing a UA mystery for the Canonn, in-game, though - that certainly has a nice ring to it... ;)

…and with that, so ends Biscuit Barrel 4, over-running by a good hour for the hell of it. New faces, old hands. Strong spawning levels throughout much of the exercise, pirates a-go-go and the Usual Suspects of the Strong Signal Source set but no UA Convoy sighted. Medical Convoys were regular hits over the exercise. Navy Gallium Convoy (found in USSs) were an interesting find. Some greater familiarity with work-arounds for instancing issues and general wingwork passed along, too. All to the good even if no UA Convoy sighted. Not sure if it amounts to anything but, yeah, that’s the gist of it.

Really Bad News: Ship Losses! *Removes hat for a moments silence for any crew members lost aboard those ships* Glad to see all commanding Canonneers made it to their pods, though. Pity to break the Barrel ‘rule’ on not losing ships but it does take some balls to jump straight back into heisting after that. o7

EGX Prize Winners –
Discretionary Award – Willy Wale. Strong legwork, lost a ship, took it in great humour, dove immediately back into the fray. Proper big salute to you, Sciencer!
Raffle Winner – Nicholas Pow… Okay. Worth a try! The raffle win gooooooes toooo…. Danubezoe! Good to have had you in-system, DZ!

(Big Zee/Huros, could you kindly do the honours for passing along the skin codes to the winners? Thanks again for making them available for this.)

Someone had asked back in the thread about buying ships/weapons from one of the affected stations; whether the malfunctions would spread to their ship... I just bought a Vulture from Ray Gateway in Diaguandri (system affected). No distortions showed on the Shipyard or Outfitting. I'm keeping an eye on it (the ship). I am parking it elsewhere though.

Thanks for the sitrep Nick! Sounds like some fun was had by all.

I'll make contact with H and we'll organise EGX upload ;)

Congrats all - and thanks to everyone that turned up :)

Now before I leave I just wanted to remind you guys that I will be leading a planetary exploration mission to merope once it goes live . The mission is obviously to explore the moons to hopefully find clues about the UA . Commanders derthek nick Powell and lord zoltan already know of this mission . If you are interested in helping me ( us ) in this mission please inform any of us or the canonn council that you want to be one of the explorers . I personally suggest to have good amounts of credits and having a good ship ( i would choose a python or asp or clipper ) with decent amount of buggies .
Im thinking about 2 theories that I also discussed with nick : we could either split up and drop to all the land able moons and explore or we could all drop into different regions of one moon at a time and search them with detail . ( when I say different regions I mean poles equator line regions and bright side and dark side etc ... )
and the good side of this mission is even if we don't find anything we still would have our fun and will enjoy the beauty and sight of the moons . However I hope we do find something there :)
thanks for reading and let us know if you wanna participate

BTW, as the Horizons will soon be released, I'm interested in testing a few things:
...
3) Ships now have an autopilot. Can UA take control of the ship?
I didn't want it, I was only joking.:(

Hi, Thank you I really appreciate it, but, thing is, I got lucky before at the Kaushpoos CG and I can only paint my ship so many times so if possible the EGX should be given to someone else?

Just realized what a PM is for - sorrry about the clutter

Are those eye missions in random stations or.... are they in "affected" stations?

Random. First one I got offered was in a surface base on a planet in some sytem I'd never heard of.

Unfortunately my client keeps crashing repeatedly since the last update... sooo... can't go out and get more.

These events are so valuable. Great work as always Nick.

Sunday is my hockey night, so I never participate. I therefore want to give a big thumbs up to all that do

I would vote for Nick, for 'Services to Biscuits''.

It was great to be doing another Barrel, and my first foray onto Teamspeak abord the Gnosis

Cowboy science is great!

Damn, that's some spooky messages...

Are they all coming from a single mission, or all from different commanders who took the mission, and each of them have one same message spamming repeatedly in their inbox ?
Or do they have various messages randomly received ?
