Back to REAL SCIENCE:

I can confirm that new ships almost surely have their own ships drawings!
Just checked Keelback and Asp Scout, and new morse sequences are being sung by the UA.

The Keelback one is very long, so I stopped my recording earlier just to check another ship, I will do a full recording later.

The Asp scout is shorter so it was easy to get all the sequences:

Good luck on Merope everyone. I see no reason to head that way given the number of Canonn already committed to that expedition. I will though point toward other shell systems and begin my search there.

On the Code,
it seemed like a cezar cipher to me, but that won't give out clear text.
If you read the top left characters to bottom,
here is what i reconned:

Top left row: A,B,C,D,G,H,N,R
Missing in progression: E,F,I,J,K,L,M,O,P,Q

I'm planning to check moons in systems around polaris, myself.

It appears that the thrusters are pointed down fairly significantly making me thing it's not a smaller planet/moon. Maybe something closer to Earth size.

That could fit in with a crashed Generation ship - they'd be looking for something Earth-like

Agreed- that's why I said UA-like technolgy (still doesnt imply Thargoid necessarily)

Thanks man but I think my upgrade must have gone wrong. Not seeing planetary hangars in the outfitting. Looking like im gonna need to reinstall :(

Regarding that picture:

It's very unlikely that the objects on them are barnacles. If you look closely, the smaller objects are little towers with glowing attachments. This means that they are probably some sort of scanner array or defense system. However, the structure on the right looks much larger and has a fundamentally different structure. This further reinforces my point, as all of the structures would be at least a bit similar if they were the same species of organism. Instead of barnacles, I think what is shown there is an alien outpost, as the larger structure seems to be a pressurized habitat, as it's a dome, which is already a good shape for a pressure vessel, and it also has thick looking "skin". Also, the structure seem organic, just like the UAs.

FYI they are a type of standard module that goes into one of the non-specific internal compartments instead of having a detracted slot like the planetary approach suite or thrusters.

Thanks man, I took part in the beta so I'd done it before.. Just looks like when I upgraded my 32bit client and assumed Horizons would activate with it, I was wrong. 64 bit Horizon client downloading now
