Could be very kind of you to do a recording of your Corvette in front of a free floater UA, let's say 10 minutes, to try to decode the morse signals end retrieve the corresponding drawing?
It's very unlikely for me to buy a Corvette to do that test. :D
Same for the Cutter. Turn music off.

Would do but I don't have a UA and have no clue about recording software. And uploading with 1 mbit would probably take forever. If somebody else can record and point me where to go I'm here

I expect the artifact to morse about one of meropes planets, most likely with coordinates. Does it still point to the star in merope?

You can easily find UAs in any system inside a shell that goes from 135 to 150Ly from Merope. Aries Dark Region GW-W D1-52 is my historical hunting place.
BTW your upload speed makes it very hard to do it, same as me. No worries. We'll wait for another kind CMDR with a huge ship ;)

the new morse sequences seem just a content addition to the already known UA behavior, nothing more. BTW the T-ships still behave as in 1.4, spelling the nearest object name and not their drawings, so we can assume it's not a bug, because if they've added new sequences to the UA they could have fixed it as well, no? Perhaps...

Its a new addition yeah. Saw them in the changelog. Just passed a Salvageable Wreckage SS in Merope.. I'm gonna concentrate on 5C, highest metal content in system

Distress calls are one NPC in distress, threatened by several other NPCs. Don't enter them if you have an exploration-equipped ship, as you'll be required to fight multiple opponents at once.
