nVidia driver 361.43 was released a bit ago and looks promising. If not for ED specifically, at least for VR as a whole?
Sure wish ED supported .8 sdk without cheesey workarounds and third party frankenstein virtual machines. I'm especially excited for the SLI support and performance increases, as a dual GTX-770 user. Maybe Santa will surprise us with Oculus sdk .8 support that works with this new nVidia driver 361.43.
On another note, all the recent "space" games are looking really great, even SC. What a great time to be a space game fan. There's at least half a dozen "space" games I'm looking forward to but, honestly, after ED I've shied away from backing games and am taking "get it when released" approach, for my own sanity.
If Oculus support (native) or when Oculus support is back in ED I'll give it another go. IMO once you've played ED in VR there's just no going back. It's certainly in my personal hall of fame as a PC game experience.
