How much money can you make per hour, and how do you do it?

Everyone missed the NECRO!

The original thread is out of date as so much has changed in the months since the last reply. Keeping threads that old can only cause misinformation to be spread if people don't read the date of posts. Next time please start a new one.
Where else can I boast about how filthy rich I am compared to 99% of the game's playerbase?

Must be nice making the money some of you are making....all I want is another 10 million to get a good enough Asp to go exploring before I get bored with the game, but making the rest of the money I need is such an insane grind.

Can't say I'm in any hurry to max creds, sorry there.
I must be a filthy casual.

Me too. I'm having too much fun waiting for people to interdict me. Capt. Harmless (obviously not his real name) tried today in a Viper and learned that Expert means something. He was down to around 20% hull before he managed to burn away because I was laughing so hard. The outer ring of my shield icon was a wee bit dimmer but that's it.

Anyways, I'll bet he had just bought the Viper and had no money left after half-a**ed equipping it. So probably gave him a heart attack when I stripped his shields on the first pass (I was flying an A-Viper built for combat). I'm used to fighting Pythons and other more powerful ships.

That's my fun. I probably made around 500K so far today just puttering around. Eventually I'll be motivated to earn some real creds, or maybe go on another long range exploration run. Who knows?

Currently averaging about 500k-1m an hour politely pulling slave traders down and encouraging them to offer up some cargo as a pizzo. Clearly I am not in it for the money but because I care

I make 15-20 mil an hour doing Robigo runs

This. 15-25M depends on how efficient my run is. Im pretty much always watching netflix while i half :):):):):) smuggle. Just take outpost missions ( takes a little longer to stack ) and you have almost 0 chance of being scanned. Creative use of solo and open mechanics ensures I can make maximum credits with 0 risk. But dont worry guyz solo mode isnt more profitable than open.

In my T9 I had 468 cargo space and could make an easy 10mill an hour, but T9 is squishy so every time I got interdicted it was a bit scary.

Now I have my conda with 404 cargo space I'm making a little less per hour but theres not a right lot of other ships I need to worry about any more, plus the jump range is way better so takes less time to do the run.

Now if only I could get the hang of getting this thing through the docking port without taking the paint off every time.....lol

I generally make around 1.8 million / mining run with my ASP Explorer. I only mine painite/platinum/palladium and leave everything else. It worked out pretty well so far, but I'm being interdicted at least two times both ways, and sometimes there are NPCs intercepting me in the asteroid field too.

Pure bounty hunting during a good instance, with no other players about I can regularly scrape 4mil per hour.
Average is around 2.5mil for me though.
That's in an A Rated FDL or Vulture.

25 mil an hour doing long range smuggling.

Before the outcry of a nerf. Smuggling is now much harder, as it should well be and one scan is an automatic fail on all missions. To get the best missions this requires an Elite trade rank and that's no small feat either (Tycoon would probably do).

When I was at power rank 5 I make about 20 mils in 30 mins in RES with good spawn. Now at lever 4 it's about 6-8 per 30 mins.

And I feels like I was making more money in HiRes before Horizons, then now in HazRes.

Curently, I kitted a Scout ASP to go mining a pristine metallic asteroid ring.

I play in a very relaxed fashion, with shields (so not a maximized cargo space).

I don't time it, but with a 40mn mining run, depending on my luck, I do between 1.5 and 2 million credits. Let's round it up to 3mil/hour.

I did more with bounty hunting (without PwP bonuses) in a hiRES when getting à good spawn but I love to try new roles and ships.

Trading was always the fastest way to net credits, with a safe round trip I could do 4mil/hour in my T6.

But really, credits come and go. I just do what I feel like to do, and enjoy that big galaxy of ours...

Best I've done so far in a RES is about 2.5 to 3 mill. I've got a two station trading run that does 600+ on a round trip, I reckon that'd be 4 or 5 mill in an hour (never confirmed it, I get bored of trading easily).
