Updated GROUP and FACTION lists (maybe alphabetized this time, I can help with that if needed) would stem the tide of these posts, questions, and re-submissions. In any case case many thanks to Zac and Brett for what they've done so far.

I have a question/request here. My group is based on a minor faction that was already in the game.
I've seen that for new players factions that have been inserted in the game, some of their members have their group initials at the end of their name e.g. CMDR JOHN DOE [ABC]
- Why my minor faction doesn't have that?
- Who in the group gets the "[abc]" marker added to their names? Do I need to submit a list??
It is certainly cool to have that option. There is absolutely nothing in our HUDs, Ships, names that identify us as part of a player faction.
So far, at least for us, the fact that we have been added as a player group has remained mainly a theory, a suspicion, a leap of faith...because we decided to run with the already Minor Faction present in the game thus so far nothing truly have changed for us other than seeing the description added to our main system in the Galmap, and the main station, that we rightfully won on a war that didn't flip it, passed to our hands.
So we would like to have these "decals" in our names.

The answer is as follows.
Those with the letters at the end have sent requests in to frontier support to change the names, there is no group tag as of this time.
I have been informed by a FD rep that the minor factions should be updated very soon.

Hi our group raised a ticket last week about bugs in the background simulation as follows:
System: LAWD 7
Faction: Guardians of Tranquillity
Hi
I wish to raise a ticket concerning a bug in the back ground simulation (BGS)
Our faction the Guardians of Tranquillity recently expanded into the system LAWD 7. A WAR state was then triggered when we reached the same level of in influence as ‘LAWD 7 Advanced Corp.’ Who control the secondary station ‘HEDLEY DOCK’. Over the past few days our members have fought in the combat zones and turned in many millions of combat bonds, this has seen our influence rise from something in the region of 15% to 47% which vastly exceeds the ‘LAWD 7 Advanced Corp’ who are currently on 9%. However now the WAR state has expired and the station ‘HEDLEY DOCK’ is still showing owned by ‘LAWD 7 Advanced Corp.’
Could you please investigate this as it seems to be bugged, from my understanding the Guardians of Tranquillity should now own ‘HEDLEY DOCK’. We currently have over 210 members, 30 to 40 of which can be described as very active in game in support of our faction, at one stage on Friday 08/01/16 we had 15 pilots in LAWD 7 all taking part in the WAR. They will be very disillusioned if this bug is not investigated.
Another point to come out of this is that our influence vastly exceeds the controlling faction of LAWD 7 the ‘REVOLUTIONARY LAWD 7 PROGRESSIVE PARTY’ who are currently on 33% and who own the primary station ‘BURBANK PLANT’. As we have far exceeded their influence a WAR can not be triggered for control of the primary station. This seems counter intuitive and it would make more sense for any minor faction who increases its influence by this degree to automatically either trigger a WAR for the primary station or ELECTION for the primary station. I am sure you can see that this will be frustrating for our members if it is not rectified.
One more point that has been raised multiple times by our members is the fact that the GALAXY map has not been updated to show our recent star system acquisitions. Our starting system TARACH TOR still shows as an ANARCHY on galaxy map when it should show as a DICTATORSHIP. BD-22 286 which we have recently expanded into and subsequently taken over still shows as DEMOCRACY to the FEDERATION when it should show as INDEPENDANT DICTATIOSHIP on the galaxy map. Could you please also investigate these apparent bugs.

We have had replies that basically said "look in the forums at the Dev update" Its clear the person CMDR Tronador could not be bothered to read the ticket contents and was not interested in dealing with it. Multiple members are getting frustrated with this as you can probably see by the multiple tickets now being raised.
Can you please look into these issues.

Not sure, I'm closing in on 3 weeks and haven't heard anything yet. I want to spam the inbox but I know I would hate it if some one did that to me at work
10 days here... seems that a way of doing it in game would be much simpler.
They are supposedly working on a new system. That's all the details we have.
