So are the devs stringing this story out, and is the nebulae in a currently impossible to reach area wthout the new drives that may come in 2.1 update.
Are there any nebulaes that we can't reach yet.

Maybe very soon we'll be needing/wanting to get somewhere in a hurry.like a rescue mission from a Thargoid attack on the other side of the galaxy. Perhaps the commanders of distant worlds expedition will fall victim to this fate and be totally obliterated... Would be pretty epic from a gameplay standpoint . fd can basically pull the trigger on such a event as They see fit.

With regard to the latest Galnet - I have decoded the clue:

Some have speculated the numbers may be coordinates of some kind: b?n?r? ??a??t L??: 2?.?? ??n?: 9?.??

to read:

binary planet Lat: 2?.?? long: 9?.??

Well, they are definitively spawn left & right here in JC-U B3-2. I'm tryting to get further away from the initial findings.
I suspect the condition on the planet is good.
The question is how many other planets in the system have the right condition? (sorry if I've missed those if so).

I am almost afraid to tell you, but... that part was decoded about 20 minutes after the galnet news went online, a few hours ago.

Quick question, as I cant remember: since when does the FD logo when you start the game come with a brief fade in/out of part of the Barnard's Loop?

The rarest materials found on Merope 5 C and Pleiades Sector JC-U B3-2 1 respectively are Yttrium and Antimony, for what it's worth. They're both tidally locked. Edit: Merope is TL to the star, PS JC to its binary planet. Rocky and high metal content.

Did anyone make it to Barnard's Loop yet? I'm omw now. Probably jumping the gun, but couldn't help myself.

Sorry, but it has already been found that is the site of a crashed anaconda

Okay, back for a few more posts;

I'm trying to get a good look and listen to these things but they are NOt spawning for me in Solo and Closed Groups.

I've tried restarting the game, leaving/reentering the system, various different coordinates but nothing. They are NOT there in Solo for me. Any help with that?

At least one guy went there some hours ago. I arrived there but went back to Witch Head. Upon arrival at BL I realised how big that thing is, and at the very core the systems dont contain planets at all.
