Barnacle has now been confirmed to be a mini-pre-hatched Thargoid. Stadium is code for your ship.
You need to get your ship to Sol, Titan City Station, where it will be fumigated and rendered safe.
This is currently the stations only way of repairing itself. As far as I know.

What do UAs do if they scan you with meta alloys?
Not even by a long shot, especially not if you've been rubbing it up against even barnacle you could find.........

Nope, different one. This new one was found at the coordinates indicated in the galnet message, and is surrounded by various cargo containers and has barnacles nearby.
You can see the front page to see my experience of doing the Strange Alloys mission. But I will warn you, you'll be lucky enough to find ONE mission let alone more than one, let along more than one from the SAME station. Just a heads up, the reward is worth having a look for it definitely and it's one of the most fleshed out missions I've done in ED so far so it's been refreshing
I think selling meta-alloy from the Barnacle is probably making it worse!

I've found barnacles one and three on PS JC-U B3-2 1, but I can't for the life of me find one of the crashed Anacondas.
Anyone found one in the last couple of hours and can confirm the coordinates? I'm aware of the instancing bugs with finding these fixed PoI's so am prepared to log in and out a few times (and have done).

it is probably a lifecycle, like for a fungus
I'm still under-resourced in the bubble, so can't make a practical contribution, but I don't suppose anyone's tried communicating with them in morse (ship lights/srv lights), maybe saying something along the lines of 'sorry for shooting you earlier...', just in case, like.
This doesn't work for everyone.
