it was strange, after I visited the barnacle on 5C and came back to obsidian orbital with some meta alloy, I looked at the bulletin board and suddenly it was nothing but charity missions, literally like a dozen charity missions and nothing else

That's because the signal have been decoded 20 minutes later, and the Barnacles found already, together with the Anaconda Wreckage.
So it is not relevant anymore.

I see.

Where can I find this list? I'd like to take a look to those systems myself

Gimme a sec and I include the list in this post. However, as pointed out by Riz it may not be relevant anymore. Nevertheless, here you are:

PLEIADES SECTOR KC-V C2-5 (3 stars, no landable planets)
PLEIADES SECTOR KC-V C2-4 (1 star, 3 landable planets, multiple gas giants with landable moons)
PLEIADES SECTOR TJ-Q B5-2 (2 stars with landable planets which I visited briefly, found nothing interesting)
PLEIADES SECTOR LC-V C2-9 (Few gas giants, one of them having landable moons)
PLEIADES SECTOR HW-W C1-4 (1 star no planets)
PLEIADES SECTOR GW-W C1-3 (4 stars, gas giants and many landable bodies)
PLEIADES SECTOR LX-T B3-2 (no exploration data)
PLEIADES SECTOR LX-T B3-0 (no exploration data)
PLEIADES SECTOR NS-T B3-1 (no exploration data)
PLEIADES SECTOR MI-S B4-2 (no exploration data)
PLEIADES SECTOR JC-U B3-2 (no exploration data)

Yes. Basically it is as if you've landed. Engines shut down, ship computer makes the announcement, and you're just dead in the air. Not sure if a feature or bug, had it happen five times or so since I picked up an MA...

Blue spores, & now something interfering with drives. Mmm, perhaps the Thargoids are underneath all this after all- getting back at us for the mycoid virus attack on their drives. Were you carrying MA & if so how many? (cos I've been offline since midnight with 8 in my hold )

This is currently the stations only way of repairing itself. As far as I know.

Did you guys complete any missions with meta-alloys? Today I'll be heading to civ space to acquire and complete some. I'll provide a list of systems and stations. Also I'll try to complete as many as possible in one station.

CMDR Grift

You can see the front page to see my experience of doing the Strange Alloys mission. But I will warn you, you'll be lucky enough to find ONE mission let alone more than one, let along more than one from the SAME station. Just a heads up, the reward is worth having a look for it definitely and it's one of the most fleshed out missions I've done in ED so far so it's been refreshing :D

new galnet post on the launcher.

Obs orbital is getting worse since the barnacle has been found (coincidence? i think not)

lets all sell the meta alloys there to see if it fixes anything.

I think selling meta-alloy from the Barnacle is probably making it worse!

I've found barnacles one and three on PS JC-U B3-2 1, but I can't for the life of me find one of the crashed Anacondas.

Anyone found one in the last couple of hours and can confirm the coordinates? I'm aware of the instancing bugs with finding these fixed PoI's so am prepared to log in and out a few times (and have done).

THE theory :

The UA is not growed by barnacle .... But it's other way around.

Once UA finds after scans suitable planet and place it's dig in and the containers opens to the crop starts begin to grow in the barnacle. At least that's corresponding with the images I saw ( on top of the structure you see head of UA and the body with containers buried underground )

From were tinkakels grow up out of the ground and around the UA head.

it is probably a lifecycle, like for a fungus

I'm still under-resourced in the bubble, so can't make a practical contribution, but I don't suppose anyone's tried communicating with them in morse (ship lights/srv lights), maybe saying something along the lines of 'sorry for shooting you earlier...', just in case, like.
