So here I am, seeing that Pranav is expanding into Peregrina. It's a plague system that needs a Permit if you want to check in game. The only way he can expand is to deliver cargo or reports or whatever to the stations.
Because I don't want the Black Market to be shut down in this permit system due to it's mention of Alien Artifacts and the inability to sell UA's there (and possible content later on) I have been undermining this expansion.
I sit in Open, and see that there is some expansion efforts and no undermining. So I decide to wait for those who are delivering reports or whatever to persuade them to not expand here.
Alas, I keep checking the PowerPlay details, I see nobody in the system in 4 hours and their expansion efforts keep growing, so I have to start on the Violent Protests which take longer, so I will never catch up.
10/10. Solo play influence on PowerPlay is an absolute joke and should be stopped. It becomes a race against the clock rather than actual player interactions. This is a terrible game mechanic decision and it's any wonder the only reason you side with a PP faction these days is to just stock up on the weapon bonuses or join Alliance for your 30% Trade profits in Solo.
