I had assumed (from watching the videos) that you needed an SRV "spotter" to find them. In my case the spotter also has to shoot the rocks.

I was in an instance where the other commander, in an SRV, smacked in to an ore accidentally and smashed it in to its material content, ready to be picked up
I wonder if we can do that with ships too ?

I only have 94% hull...smashing 300 rocks by running into them would probably be a short-lived enterprise.

If you can't cross the 65k line. Have you thought about heading back to meet the fleet? There would be plenty of volunteers about at the WPs.

While it is very tempting to do that, the reason I went on my lonesome was because I cannot possibly cross the abyss where the rest of the fleet will be crossing...have to take a very large detour.

The only option is to wait...which I am cool with (probably need a bit of a rest to be honest)

Hay Cmdrs,

With the DW fleet fast approaching I thought I would bump this up the thread list again...

Would any of you Rock Rats travelling with the fleet (or in advance of the fleet) be able to help me find/collect jumponium components. Having a max jump range of 22.14 I will need a fair few basic, standard and premium jumps. I am prepared to collect only half of what I need (that is, a one way trip to BP)...and then hope that kind souls will help me leave

I know that Rock Rat Crew including Baroness Galaxy et al had said they might be able to help...just wondering if they were still up to it.
