I have been flying around fast - for a lumbering ship like the Python - at the waypoints. I like flying around and I like seeing other ships flying around. I'm a decent pilot and I keep a very close eye on the scanner particularly when other ships are moving around. I'll keep away in future. X(

I think we all like to do that Jackie. I wouldn't call that reckless low flybys and stunt flying.

I'll see if Dr Kaii can get an interview with the two pilots for next weeks newsletter. I guess its part of the DW story line that's unfolding as we cross the galaxy, so will probably be one of those incidents thats remembered for a long time!

I saw the explosion in the distance but couldn't make out whose SRV it was from the convo.

I think that might have been me^^ I didnt know you where in the instance but I know I was in with fox and jaredd atleast a little earlier Was trying a tripple backflip, did land on my wheels kinda. Mostly my back wheels but thought I was gonna make it and then I went boom. Might have been that I took more dmg then I should but cant really say since I didnt land on all 4 and was at one point over 20m in the air, and there are rocks at wp 5^^ Still got a few left though so Im gonna keep trucking and racing the srvs Will keep arial acrobatics in the srv to 0.2g or less though

I Isokix apperantly got it on his stream so gonna check it out there to see how it looked from a outside perspective^^ And I was filming from inside hehe

I got it on video (from a distance), then about 30 seconds later one of your SRVs wheels came rolling past my field of view.

OK, quick question:

What happens when you are parked up in a Private Group and then switch to Open to say hallo, or visa versa. I am assuming that the server will take other CMDR's positions in account and spawn me safely away from any obstacles or is it a crap-shoot, ie I land in Zenith's lap, his wife catches him in an awkward moment, he spills his tea and shorts his keyboard shortly after getting slapped by said wife and thereafter spontaneously combusts, taking me and three other CMDR's with him........

Please tell I assume correctly.

This is actually the main reason that I only logout or switch between open and group while flying in free space. I've heard of people logging in and inhabiting the same area before. I don't want it to happen to me.

I spawned into an instance on the ground at WP1 and my Conda was interlinked with another Conda, neither ship received any damage from the incident, that`s not to say you never will, would need to hear from others that it`s happened to

Because next weekend XCOM2 is out, I'll not be flying much that weekend. And weekends is where the mileage are.

So, I'm going to go ahead to WP 6 (still need my screenies) this weekend while I have time to do so, and then straight on to WP 7. I know we're not planning that far ahead, but is it reasonable to suspect that WP 7 will have the meet-up in the weekend in 2 weeks time?

Since i found out about our precious Wasp-Radio (http://www.radionomy.com/en/radio/waspradio/index) i have it running in my background even when not playing ED - now i was wondering if it was possible to create some kind of Spotify-Playlist with all these Songs, so we can get that DW-Feeling even when our Expedition is over (ya, some sentimental guy here ^^ ) or for times when i am in that boring real-live-instance and need some refreshing music.

I already started putting together some songs from the radio, but noway i can listen 24 hours straight through to note all songs.

Ah, and really big thanks to the guy(s) that are running that radio, your doing a great job!

Seems I'm falling behind. Missed the last two meetups, though I coulda sworn I checked the NGC meetup an hour before it actually happened and still had no arrival time. Tried to catch up last night and got stuck in the server downtime. Time to finish the journey to NGC and maybe start my way to the hollow veil I think or else I'll be missing all the meetups at this rate.

Yes indeed. I was merrily approaching the coordinate when the whole planet twitched and moved veery close to me. I managed to boost away but lost about 17% of my hull. A few seconds later I was kicked from the server (explains why I didn't answer your hail). When I logged back in I was back at 100%. Don't know what that was all about, but I'm grateful nonetheless.

Just barging in here, but that gave me a thought: might this also be (part of) the problem behind the exploding SRVs?

Twitching planet/ground? Yes, why not. I lost my SRV to a seemingly round and 'good-natured' little stone. Didn't even roll, just exploded. The planetary 'twitch' was, by several degrees, much more visible though.

I don't know if it was you but i saw yesterday an Anaconda land at 2m of my nose (without impact on shields or anything), and then start to fly up straight, not having responded to hails or questions about what was going on. It seemed hard to get contacts, maybe the servers were already acting up (was at around 12 UTC).

That could have been me. First approach was to find a clear landing spot and I was landing by radar, not having any downward view in an Anaconda. It looks like that little square on the radar takes up half the radar screen if it's an Anaconda. I saw I was pretty much on top of another Anaconda in camera view, went up a bit and backed up a decent amount before attempting an actual landing.

I didn't see anything on comms then the server crashed just minutes later. I have had screwy comms before, local chat not showing up or other people not being able to see my text. Anyway apologies if I worried you, I'm still getting used to landing by instruments only. A landing cam or radar that actually shows ship profiles would be very helpful.

Just tried taking off after reappearing practically on top of another ship. Game crashed again. Multiplayer is glitchy.
