Nothing much to report yet from Skull and Cross
Checked for SSS on way in ... didn't see any
found some land-able binary planets ... so far no barnacles
but it is pretty

Would it be worth it to create a spreadsheet with a complete list of systems + planets for each surveyed nebula?

I'm not suggesting something necessarily as complete (and COMPLEX) as what NetSlayer is doing with his survey, but more a just a set of lists. I pretty much do that already when I go exploring, probably many others as well (gotta spend that supercruise time doing SOMETHING).

Seems like using an add-on like ED ToolBox could really make it very simple to do. I've never tried it, though (or any other add-on). Anyone?

We have one? Check the first page, just below NetSlayer's spreadsheet on the Pleiades.

I spent some time in Alioth, no strange ships found but it is a wealthy system. Also i noticed in the local paper they are sending an expedition out to the Dumbbell Nebula.

Just a heads up, i tried to get a response from the Cmdr who reported he refueled a mysterious ship - and as was stated a few pages earlier by Cmdr Derthek i agree that we should treat the eyewitness report with a lot of caution. So until there is no further, documented/recorded sighting, i'd treat the whole thing as 'Galnet only'.
It would make sense for the ships to exist so i'll keep my eyes open, but i don't know if it's worth to go out of your way searching for them (which in my case means i'll drop the fuel transfer limpets and stop treating every distress call popping up outside the bubble as shimmer of the holy grail:)).

Spend last evening scouting there too, sadly Alitoh was just interesting based on information with now rather dubious credibility.. But at least that permit was worth something for a change (other than that ridiculous trade route starting in irkutsk station. Ahem.. right, my finance department just informed me i should sthu.)

I feel the need to chime in here...

I remember, back when we first found UA, that AluminumAlloy had posted a hoax image and though we called him out for errors in the image, he denied the image was fake. Now he's the only witness to a conveniently timed DBx flying abnormally fast? He may be a fellow Canadian, but I wouldn't trust him at all. Righto, back to lurking.

Good luck out there.

edit: I'm not trying to be mean or anything, I'm simply providing background information on the source, that relates to the subject of UA. Ultimately it's up to the reader to decide what to believe.

Is this what you're referring to?

he also claimed to have found a UA floating in normal space outside an orbis station:

and we all know that just doesn't happen.

it's also not the first time he's claimed to have seen something moving too fast to catch. from September 2015:

3 strikes, I for one do not believe this guy.

Hey guys,

Why aren't you/we pursuing the 'Cryptic Messages Found in Local Bulletins'?

Yeah, feel a bit silly now for not clarifying sources and go off hunting for ghosts based on this. But good thing we could help someone out with some of his epeen issues. Always good to help.
..let's just forget about this
