Not seen one myself but I know others have, it's a crashed drone which is why you can't target it. In fact I think maybe some were even spotted when we were first looking for barnacles.

This drone was flying around my ship

the satellite was crashed. I had no SRV at this time to scan it but I will do it later.

The UA's point to Merope and admittedly that's where the first Barnacle was found, but all the other discoveries have been in a different system. There has not been any more discoveries on Merope.
You would think that if its the Barnacles that are important to the UA's they would pointing to Pleiades Sector JC-U b3-2, and if its not the Barnacles that's important what is?

I think this is why MB said that he was so surprised where the first barnacle was found.

It is a stinger drone, nothing special. Don't know how it attacks cause i always end up killing all drones before they have a chance to fight back. Odd though that you were not able to target it.

I will check the crashed sat now but I also think this is some regular thing. Never saw any drone like that till yet

Even if there isn't a connection between the UAs and the barnacles, we're still left with a situation where we have a billion barnacles on JC-U B3-2 2 and exactly ONE on Merope. Why?

Sry guys, I have to post this. Just saw it at Obsidian Orbital. Also on the radar and I boosted to follow for a scan but it was too fast... not sure about it. I know, bad quality

it appeared near the station and I thought nothing special but then it didnt stop for landing and flow away very fast! It was definitly moving around.

I would say it was something unnecessary but you could also see it on the radar.

The ones in Pleione and Merope are Rocky, ~10% metal content, but the two in Pleiades Sector JC-U B3-2 are high metal
They might not like the cold, not a lot samples yet

2 vultures and 1 Python

Comms:
[Medical Transport] Transport reporting in: cargo secure... I guess...
[Medical Transport] Transport reporting in: cargo secure... I guess...

Cargo scanned all ships, Vultures no cargo, Python carried:

6 Performance Enhancers
8 Progentior Cells
1 Scientific Research
6 Occupied Escape Pods

After a while they charged frameshift drives, but then did not jump. I didn't have a wake scanner anyway, but followed for some time before I got bored. They never charged the frameshift drive a second time. I eventually just let them fly out of scanner range.
