Echo - Voice Activation Plugin

I can't wait to try it, for now I don't have a mic though.

I would love love love an addon that let me use a web browser in my cockpit. I could embed youtube videos or check the forums or other sites without alt tabbing like a maniac.

- uninstall.
- install the launcher.
- re-download the app from the launcher.

This worked for me

Only got the Radio side working at the moment, can't seem to get Radio Options to work. What should show when given this command?

Radio Channels work, Volume works.

Yes in-order to use any of the GUI options you need to create a command for it, without this it will show blank and will not work.

It would be helpful if you provide your PC specs specially the OS 32bit or 64bit, to try and simulate your case and figure out what's wrong.

It works and I love it! I finally have a use for the IVONA 2 Amy voice I bought ages ago in a sale. I cant wait to play Elite tonight with this.

Hi Olkan,

been using now for some 30 minutes, and it has crashed 5 times. It seems to be (Bur NOT everytime) when i give an Engine command in VA. Is this affecting it do you think?

i'll look into this, but let me check something with you. You are just using echo for the overlay i mean same command does not exists on both apps... correct?

The two commands it has happened the most on are "75%" and "Boost" for the engines commands in VA.

I have been playing for an hour without any commands other than those Olkan added and mine crashed after an hour. Weirdly it said Echo has stopped running with that pulsing green bar you see in windows, but I pressed cancel and it continued. Even more weirdly though when I quite elite the overlay was still running as the service was still going but not the program.

I am really liking it though its nice to have the radio there

I downloaded it, but I was under the impression that it came pre-loaded with voice commands to activate preset radio stations and read from Galnet. Did I miss something or is it down to the user to customize all that?

No you have to setup your own voice commands, the commands are setup you just have to input your own 'Speech' commands. In the home screen, top right go to settings and voice commands.

Hi Olkan,

These are defo the only 2 commands which Crash your program. A bit of a bind as these are 2 of the more popular VA commands i use. Any fix or work around?

Can you have the Username and Password 'Remembered'. Each time it crashes it's a right PITA to input UN and PW again and again.

Also you have the volume command of Up or Down. Any chance of saying a percentage input? EG: I like Radio played at 20% so it does not drown out ED, but i have to say Volume Down 4 times to get there?

Just a few hints!

thanks Wasp0, i'm checking what could be the issue when using these 2 commands with VA. The remember me option will be available next update. for the volume option ofc it can be implemented and i will consider it. thanks again.

Stunning work commander.

Why FD just could not implement such things in game by them self? It is as I understand 1 man job and its ads lot of immersion to the game.

Just imagine if if we could have voice interaction build in with our hud in game instead of using all those voice atacks and such
