No MS made that free.. and they already ed up 1.5 so that ain't a good excuse.
And, in any case, the BB mission bugs are probably server-side.
To be honest you only have bought the right to play the game, consumer rights when it comes to digital products haven't caught up with traditional physical purchases. If your not happy with the game there is not a lot you can do about it so you got to suck it up like the rest of us and wait for the next patch or move on to another ip. FD don't have to give us any information on a patch or when it's going to drop, hell they don't have to give us any other content or patch's it's all down to T&C's by buying their product and pressing the I agree to the bit of script no one reads they can do pretty much anything they want with your money within a legal frame work, look at the v-tech hack they changed the T&C so you agree that if your info gets stolen it's your fault and legally they are allowed to do it.
He doesn't need to be.
At least once a week someone creates a thread with the same demands you make.
Once a week the CS/Dev teams say "We're working on it, we'll let you know when we have news for you".
If you don't believe us, use the search function.
Congratulations, like the rest of us you've purchased the game. Like the rest of us you're suffering its bugs. You'll also be entitled to find out along with the rest of us when fixes will be patched in.
I haven't heard that name in a long time ... A long time... It also caused me to burst out laughing in the middle of a train! Bravo! On a serious note - as I'm out exploring and likely to be away for a few months - lack of patches doesn't overly bother me ... Yet
Fd have to go a long way to generate that much hate!

I dunno about you but when I cook things I know how long they take and can give you an accurate estimate of when it will be ready.

FD is under no obligation to expand on that product, from what it was when you purchased. EULA. Lawyers best friend.
By buying, you agreed to accept the game in its CURRENT state. You also agreed that to accept any design changes FD make to the game. You also agreed that FD retain the right to withdraw technical support & development (patches) at any time.
Always read the small-print.

I do think it will be a bit hard to find a games company that does not hold the same politics tbh. Good luck with that though. o/
I do hold the same view atleast somewhat but it simply ain't what reality is.

It's not my view. It's fact. FD is a business designed to maximise how much money they take from you, while investing as little as possible. That's how big profits work. They owe you nothing.
Reality is, if you want a space game like this without the bugs on Xbox, then you're either going to have to just wait, or make your own game. Those are literally your only two choices.
So do we have any idea when 1.6 might be. The last newsletter said penultimate before 2.1 which implies two weeks. Are 2.1 and 1.6 same time or what?
90% sure I saw Gary answer this as yes they are at the same time. I don't think they have given a date beyond what you state.
