When bunch of us were on the meeting with the President and discussing Alpha Centauri, he asked where you were and one of his senior advisors said you're on a trading run and President was visibly dissapointed that you didn't show up. He was talking about stripping your rank, but I stood up and said that it's your first slip and that besides this one mistake, your service to federation can be example to everyone else and that calmed him down and he said that he might have overreacted a bit. So in a way you owe me one and I hope if it gets ugly in alpha centauri you can return the favour by covering my back

You could explore more around your local system which will give you a lot more data on systems or maybe you could buy the exploration data from the Galaxy map.
What about Fed aligned commanders who are trying to undermine the system via trade? going to kill them on sight also?

Yeah, I'll need to solve that somehow. Maybe I could make a list or something. But on the other hand people just might be saying they'll be helping federation and then keep helping the independents. Still if anyone really loves federation and wants to help out and isn't going to lie, you're welome to join!

The Truckers consist of ~~~ 800 all around members, and I think about 300 of them are constantly active, while the rest mostly just watches out for things to do. You are in danger of becoming that thing to do. Making a list might make you realize the numbers you are against (We might be just some ragtag band of misfits, not some elite force. But we are a GIANT ragtag band of misfits who help each other.)

It's allright. I don't have a deadline until when I expect the system to get back under federation control. I can adapt and switch from patroling to guerilla tactics and randomize it a bit.

Can you turn off thrusters and engines after gaining max speed and use momentum to get you there, could do this on Frontier Elite uses no fuel.
If you try that in Supercruise, I am fairly certain you drop out of Supercruise.
Ok, hang on, where the hell where YOU when various pirate groups were blockading Hutton Orbital a few months back huh? NO Federation ships responded to the thousands of distress calls and pleas for help from the Federation, not a single damn one.
And people wonder why I'm an Emperor's Man, at least She sends help when it's requested, even if it's not Her own people who request the help....
If I wasn't a few thousand light years away in the Black, I'd be there kicking your Federation ass back to Sol, and making sure Hutton Orbital stays under the control of the Hutton Truckers, I didn't fly out thousands of tons of scrap out there for the Federation or Empire to control that station damn it.

That's a good question. Because at the time, Hutton Orbital and all of Alpha Centauri were under Federation control. The Feds couldn't be bothered with some backwater solar system with a pirate problem.

I am an Emperor's Man as I said, but when it comes to Hutton Orbital, I'm a Trucker, not a Fed or Imp, neither of them deserve to have a say in that system, they gave up that right.
