Matt made his way to Chafing’s quarters, after being let go and asked to go see him. Pressing the
door intercom a screen with Chafing’s face appeared, It spoke “Ah Mr Stryker the door is open
please come in.” before he could respond the door opened, revealing the high class quarters with a
Large window looking out into space and the ships that live in it. Chafing asked him to sit and would
he like a drink as high pressure steam hissed. Matt Looked at him pulled out a gun and shot him in
the head, saying “Simoof says Hi”.

Thanks Frank, I couldn't have helped this week. 2 hours getting to work for an 11 hour day. Nice to see some great drabbling this week. And Winnard's entered too. 
Cutting It
“water off a ducks back” the commander sighed
“yeah, but it looks more like blood” suggested his nervous passenger
“Och its just a slight cut, nothing to worrrrrble smount”
“what?” he looked as the commanders face grew paler and his eyes seemed to glaze
“slemp slurr sssshnch moop”
“OH MY GOD”, the ship alarms were still shrill and lights that shouldn’t flash, sparked and danced with abandon. “We’re going to die”
He shrieked and ran around the ever cooling cockpit until banging his head and passing out.
The officer behind the one way mirror shook his head “Failed Stress Test”

My sincerest condolences. You don't appear to be having much luck recently. At least you're getting a lot of loyalty points at the funeral parlour. That toast rack will soon be yours... if only your other kitten wasn't so healthy.

No kittens have died in the making of this weeks drabbles
And the father in law is about as much use as my mother in law
I won't be able to co-host til after April 15th. So some of you others should step up and give it a try!
It's really not hard, but it does take 15-20 minutes to gather the drabbles together.

The hardest part is squeezing into the spangly suit. I don't know what happened. It can't have shrunk in the wash because I never wash it.

Too late his thought had coalesced,
Too late to make the final cut,
His tardiness, then lack of health
Had left his bright story to rust.
Two warring vessels of the black
With laser beams great damage wrought
They strayed too close to planets lure
Towards the clouds below they fought
Those ships, shields burning bright did plunge
Headlong down through atmosphere,
And now forgotten is their fight,
Arrived too late for votes I fear.
So heed the moral of this tale
Submit your drabble while you may,
Revise, refine, and polish it
Later, or it might miss its day.
