Funny.... Doubtful their PC team will roll over to Xbox to complete it. There is still much to do in the 2.0 season. Dev never stops. Not in ED
Edit: I say this because FD made it clear PC development would not slow down due to Xbox and Mac release. So moving teams to finish Xbox would go against that..

Dude, Microsoft showed how an small group could port a game from Xbox to PC or viceversa in one single day thanks to the new Xbox One OS and Windows 10, Frontier made the xbox version just to get money, said a few pretty things, made a casual gamemode that for some people won't even work and abandoned it.

Not sure what you're proving, yes they showed that, under controlled environment. Its called PR. Don't believe everything Sony and Microsoft says or shows. Sony did this with PS2 saying its games would look like toy story... Nope, Sony did this with ps3 showing off, a highly detailed old man saying that games will look this way... Lol so no. Console makers and devs have a way of creating false hope, just to get the average Joe all excited, oh DX12 will change everything, better bigger games, not proven, Kinect, virtual boy, Sega CD/32x and cloud gaming. All these were great ideas, smarter ppl than me created them, but in the end, the companies over hyped and embellished their true capabilities.
If elite horizons could be done that fast........ like 1.5 it would have been released.
Until there is some actual financial proof that Microsoft is skimming from the top of ever bit of content that rolls through their system, sounds to me like Microsoft hate rumors. Show the proof, not some disgruntled indie making said claims. Proof is in the facts. The rest is just rumor

Hate to say it but it ain't just "rumour", it's common sense! Anything to be played on xb1 has to go through xb marketplace, that's not gonna be free! Of course ms is gonna take a slice, its not like...say...android, where you can unchecked a box and download apps from 3rd partys ( mores the pity) so of course there's gonna be negotiations.
That being said, PC gamers have had a fully releases game for a year now and aside from patches, (that xb1 has also had) horizons is the first expansion they've had! We've had the game for what...6 months from gpp?, 2 months from official release.....
I think we need to CALM THECK DOWN!!!

I used to be an exclusive PC gamer and still play World of Warships, MechWarrior Online, and Star Citizen Alpha on it. I bought a Xbox One to play Destiny with my nephew and loved the experience in the Destiny Community and found it very friendly. I have many friends on Xbox One now. I just bought this game on XBOne and love it. Still on the Sidewinder and have only played single player.
Not Q1 but before Q4 is all we've got. Current delays to the 2.1/1.6 patch make this seem unlikely, however.
There's still plenty to do... if you can deal with the bugs and game crashes. Pinning hopes on Horizons to supply content isn't a good idea is all

yes i thought at least landing on the planet and looking for for crafting materials (whenever we get horizions and the engineers that is) might be cool instead of staring at a plannet from orbit until a bar says complete, trading just doesn't seem fun in any way to me because you don't really want anything eventful to happen and combat is just a pure grind now because the ai barely fights back if they just get the combat ai working i wouldn't be here asking when they are going to patch the game or add the dlc which is more likely because they will probably bundle all the fixes into thatYou want to go exploring because you find trading boring... um, I hate to break it to you my friend....
I'm digging E-D on xbone, I've been pouring hours into solo mode. Sold slaves at Cemiess until I worked up to an Asp Explorer and started Robigo smuggling. Just bought a Vulture and started combat missions and grinding the Navy ranks.
Having fun but can see the boredom wall approaching. I look at the Horizons content and it gets me excited. Hopefully it comes to xbone before I lose interest.

Exploration can be incredibly exciting depending on your goals and mindset.You want to go exploring because you find trading boring... um, I hate to break it to you my friend....
If you go in knowing the key to finding unique/interesting system and have an idea of what kind of systems you want to see. The result is stuff like this:

Just because you lack any artistic flair or the ability to think ahead apparently does not mean exploration is boring. The problem is you. I got thousands of views, praise from PC players who thought my montage was from the PC and not Xbox, and Frontier themselves tweeted out and praised my video in particular, and a multitude of people who said it was the best elite montage they had ever seen.
What have you done? You talk about exploration just being one thing and yet you clearly have never challenged yourself to create or find anything of any importance. Guess what? Most of space is going to be boring. That's why you look for something that isn't. It's a goal that allows you to always want to go out just a bit more into the deep. When all you do is honk and jump then yes, it'll be boring. But when you challenge yourself to find the best views, the most incredible systems. When you spend an hour setting up the perfect shot, waiting for an eclipse, when you are literally inches away from hitting an asteroid but chance it anyways to get the most dynamic angle you can...exploration can be exciting because you are always challenging yourself to think creatively in order to create the scene the has the most impact on the audience you are trying to show it too.
It's not just about seeing a binary star system and taking a shot. It's about finding a binary star system with a two binary ringed planets within 10ls of those stars. Those set up incredible opportunities for incredible photographic or cinematic shots. That scene with the black hole and the star at 3:54 in my montage was not something I stumbled across, I actively searched the galactic map for black holes and looked to see if they had stars and how close they were before jumping into the perfect one. I then got close enough to get the black hole to "eclipse" and then cut the video to match the music I was using perfectly.
At no point was I bored, to the contrary I was excited because I had found the perfect scene to match something I had designated as something I wanted in my montage BEFORE I even left the bubble.
So you can explore and honk and scan or you can be a pretentious forum user who needs to lurk more and post less about something they clearly do not actually do all that much.

That's a beautiful video. Stuff like that is why I find myself out in the howling dark, far from home.
