Ok everyone, my friend has declared sovereignty over the Sagittarius A* system. She is now the Queen of that system, and will be enforcing a new set of laws designed to protect all explorers in the system.
Anyone entering the system must have a permit, which can be acquired from the Sovereign of Sagittarius A* - ask her for details after you enter the system.
Anyone who is in the system without a permit will be asked to leave. Resistance is futile, and any hostile acts committed against the Sovereign will result in death.

I just checked the Galaxy Map Sagittarius A is still listed as Allegiance None, Population 0, Government None.
I think your friend needs to head back to civilized space to ensure she has filed all the requisite paper work, in triplicate, and submitted them to the proper authorities.
Until then I do not recognize her authority over Our Dark Mistress, The Lady Of The Void, The Toilet Of Our Galaxy, Saggy A.

I have just travelled for 6 weeks and I'm almost to Sag A. I certainly wont be playing your 'friends' game. I've heard there there is a fully equipped Anaconda on the way so my advice to your 'friend' is to tuck her tale between her legs and go home like a nice little girl. Or I'll just wait until she is off line and do my thing anyway regardless.
Its just not nice to potential ruin someone's hard work getting to Sag A, and IMO not the acceptable thing to do

Firstly, she is female - seeing everyone refer to her as "he" is quite funny.
Secondly, no she has not actually fired a shot as of yet. Just interdicted people and asked them to leave the system.
Thirdly, she is reading this thread and honestly the more you insult her the more likely she is to start actually killing people. Something to bear in mind.
She is also not a griefer, there is a reason for doing it.

Oh I love this! Am I able to apply now under condition i won't share her details? I have other concerns in my signature and would be discrete.
Is she freelance or part of an organised group? If I do make it back to saga and her sovereign state still exists, I'd love to meet up with her majesty.

So we can, as explorers, ignore her and go about our business and she'll do nothing about it otherwise her new set of laws is doing the opposite of protecting some subset of explorers who don't want to play her game?
