She is not equipped with a cargo hold, so that would be rather impossible

I have the necessary permit - it's an A rated FSD.
If I don't also get hers and she takes any kind of action against me then she's not protecting me and I'm an explorer.
Maybe her majesty can explain her definition of "all explorers" that excludes at least some of us when she deigns to communicate with her (not at all) loyal subjects on the morrow...

Hmmm, true. I myself am fully armed and Dangerous on the DW expedition (it says it next to my combat status, so it must be true!
). But I've never even deployed weapons (apart from the discovery scanner) on the entire trip, and have no intention to. It has scared a few people when they scanned me and saw the weapons, but a simple conversation (and obvious lack of pew pew) defused those.Having said that, I haven't declared sovereignty over any systems on the route, or allegedly intredicted anyone or just told anyone to go away. Kudos for getting there in a Corvette (if jump hacks weren't used), but I'm sure someone will be along shortly to aid your trip back to the bubble. As long as shots aren't fired at defensless explorers, I see no issues.
Of course, the shots are fired, then it's a different ball game
Not mentioned in the "Your preferred 'end game' activities?" thread was "find a way to be a nuisance to other players", but that's pretty clearly on the list for some players
Hanging around Sag A* waiting for another soul to show up strikes me as a pretty boring activity, so I assume it's actually mostly watching videos and websurfing while the game run in the background with nothing happening.
No need to send anyone to destroy this CMDR - having all of Elite: Dangerous at one's fingertips yet having to stay parked in an empty system with nothing to do strikes me as its own justice

Someone has flown an OP ship with perhaps the worst jump range ever to Sag A - to protect explorers.
In order to get this protection the explorer needs to comply with some kind of permit or pledge.
If said explorer decides that he (or she) does not want to comply with the demands - they will be destroyed!! (quote - "resistance is futile").
Without being sexist here, only a female could possibly come up with that kind of logic! (checks to see if wife has secretly started playing ED).
However this turns out it is going to be entertaining.

Question 1: How did she plant the flag claiming to be a sovereign if there is no land to plant it on?
Question 2: Sovereign's or rulers require people/things to be ruled, ergo she isn't a sovereign and is merely a controller/administrator. Besides they are required to be recognised by other world/universe leaders.
Question 3: This seems very silly, yes she can do it if she wants but seriously? Is she for real? I'm actually struggling to comprehend this entire scenario...

Take this post with a pinch of salt, there's mild humour in this but it reminds me of a child "this is my treehouse, no one allowed in unless you know the codeword". Besides the whole hostile acts will result in death and permits thing is hilarious, even if I die provided I do significant damage there's no way for her to repair and literally any other ship will get back to Sag A* faster than her. This will not last longer than a few weeks.
Go private group and move on folks unless you fancy a combat challenge with a great backdrop
Personal message to you, stop being the messenger, yes she may be a friend but as proven in the past any faction/person that tries to control free-movement of space is widely shunned and/or laughed at (mentioning no names). Not something you'll want to get involved in. As above if indeed what you say is true and you are not yourself this person (could well be for all we know, no game accounts linked etc).
