Want really to thank the organizers pulling us all with them, even me as a typical "lone wolf" player into this social event and accepting me as mid-time joiner in Kamzel. Respect and greetings to all... see you back in the bubble or on the way back to it. o7

I am on a PR campain to spread the word about DWE all round the world. I think it deserves it. Buzz Aldrin, the gaming magazine articles, the millions reached so far by Reddit, I'm doing well but I need your help. I have made 5 reddit posts today on various subreddits. I have to go tonight, and so if anybody there finds it interesting, I won't be able to answer them. I was wondering if I could pass it on to you guys. Right now they are not doing so well, but in case any of them take off, there will be a lot of questions and we'd do well to answer them and share our stories. I've tried to share the most eye-catching stuff I could muster, but if you have anything you want to share, feel free!

Before the thread comes to an end I just want to thank everyone involved in Distant Worlds, I was late to the party but still had an amazing time. The last week I finally got to hang out with people at various waypoints and it's been fantastic, it made all the hours catching up worth it. I look forward to more adventures with you all. I set off from Beagle last night so I leave you with some final screenshots.

Just got out of the Beagle Fuel Exclusion Zone (tm?) and topped up my tanks to the brim for the first time in weeks.... Feels odd...

I guess congratulations. It's been epic and fun. Words can't quite express the achievement and well... I can't find the words (told you so) but it was unreal!
I will be out for a few months yet criss-crossing the galaxy hence the slightly early departure but I look forward to seeing all your green dots moving around and hopefully safely back to the bubble. Still going to be around for fuel rat duties if I get called back but from me I guess this is farewell and until the next time! (Hopefully 3003!)

The thread will be closed. It will be a perpetual monument to the DWE expedition. Kinda cool that it hit critical mass exactly when the main part of the expedition finished. You'll still be able to link to it, edit posts, but no more posts will be possible.

A new thread will be opened, by you I hope, with my help as usual in maintenance, for the final phase of the expedition, as well as for further discussion. I'll get the last post here, redirect to it as well as put some closing sentiments.
