Those weren't bugs but cleverly placed in jokes...Didn't GTA V on PC work out the box?

we (men) don't understand women, I tried for 25 years then I just gave up, now I'm +50 and I always tell my wife (married for 35 years) I'm a man, I can only remember 7 days back in time, don't expect me to remember what I said two weeks ago. I can't read your mind, and I don't read signals for deaf people, I need beer, beef, sleep and luving, anything beoynd that is a pipe dream.

I believe it's been said that they won't be upgrades as such but rebalancingNot just PvP, but also PvE. Do you think FD would give us a way to increase all our stats by 10%, without also doing the same for NPCs? Those Elite NPCs would probably come with the full set of upgrades.
Wasn't the declared goal of 2.1's massive delay exactly to make sure there are less bugs this time?
I could not agree more with that...I used to believe it was FDev top priority when I started to play the game soon after release.they should have improved the core professions instead
Exactly that was stated by DB himself with "... However, it is absolutely critical for the longer-term success of the Elite franchise that we maintain our absolute commitment to quality ...".
2.1 will have everything we want but done in a way that no one wants.

Till they bring in proper fleet mechanics and player owned stations Elite will continue to have fundamental flaws with its game design
Pretty much all I'll need to be happy with 2.1 as well. Only thing I would add is to make mission payouts much bigger based on pilot's rank so we can please, please, please stop having to repetitively grind places like Robigo everytime we want to buy a ship that cost over 50mil to outfit.if all 2.1 does is given us "average" missions which work correctly and make me feel like it means something, then, you know what, i can live with that.
with this in mind, i am confident it will do more than that, so i think i will be ok![]()
Fair enough, but
is not a fact. It's an opinion - and I personally don't agree with it
BTW I also love the game. But I guess my glass is half-full![]()

Yep... I'd much rather of had V1.5 Core Love, than V1.5 Ships...
And I fear 2.1, 2.2 etc risk being more features which will look good on paper, but risk not really adding significant depth/interest/variety (or emergent gameplay) to the backbone of the game...
This year will be an interesting ride (or not as the case may be)![]()
There will be bugs, lots of bugs. The game will not turn into Eve and they will not introduce a client-server architecture. There will be no epic quests and you should not even think about becoming the saviour of the universe. Don't expect thargoids. You'll think Engineers are just a shallow and meaningless gameplay addition, basically the same grind again, and they should have improved the core professions instead. You'll not feel like you got your money's worth. Ultimately Horizons is a major rip-off and 2.1 is just the final nail in the coffin of a game that died 2 years ago when Frontier decided to remove offline mode.
There are only a few weeks left until 2.1 beta starts and I have seen lots of comments like:
"This will be fixed in 2.1", "2.1 will be a game changer", "If they don't deliver in 2.1 I'll leave the game"

On the bright side, they will improve the game - just like they did with every update so far.
