SEPP are sweethearts. Keen on the role play, they organise almost entirely in their thread on the Groups Forum. Kranco is a delight. But don't dismiss them, they have not been working the BGS as long as some of the other groups, and their earnest work has put them at the big table. I would think they have their work cut out for them running a power, as they'll need more resources than a thread on FDev. Maybe you are the one to help make a difference for them. Stop Press: the Distant Worlds Expedition DWE has pledged to support SEPP.
Thanks for the kind words and the extra information on all the groups. That will help ppl a lot to figgure out who best fits their interests.
One thing to add about SEPP: The Group Forum Thread is like our frontpage, we like to post news and chit-chat there and it's our main recruiting place. The links there guide ppl to the things they might be searching for.
Speaking of wich, here is the link:

But don't be mistaken. Our Discord server is where all the magic happens.

There we communicate, plan and answer questions. You can also find many great screenshots from explorations there. Besides that we of course have spreadsheets and all the stuff a dedicated BGS group needs.
It's also worth mentioning that we have our own radio station - eleu radio - broadcasting from Bradshaw Station, Eleu. Very nice tunes to fly with.
@Cula-Ta will PM you later for a more detailed description. That one is not really up-to date.
I was ready to support SEPP, but reading the following gives me a strange vibe of betraying ones ideals:
Social Eleu Progressive Party [SEPP]
<snip>
We are to remain free of any PowerPlay, Alliance, Empire or Federation influence.
"No, I don't want to be president! I don't want to be involved with politics!"
"Oh, there is a chance to get president? Sign me up!"
Nice to hear you thought about supporting SEPP Arubeto.

Well I can understand how it sounds like when a group first wants to stay out of PP and then tries to become a Power itself. I think we are not the only player faction with that kind of dilemma but it's not like we betray or ideals here.
Well first of all that synopsis is horribly outdated and out of context. It was taken from our forum threat without asking beforehand. No big deal, since we said what we said but just to make sure it's no statement to the Dangerous Games.
Back to topic: Our main goal is to establish a safe haven for explorers returning to the bubble. That means that we try to fight anarchy (pirate) minor factions, raise security if possible, anything to make the PvE enviroment safe.
Of course there are also explorers that might be on bad terms with the federation/alliance/empire and those who are pledged to a power. But since we are neutral and want to provide a safe place for everyone seeking for knowledge we established that guidline - that we want to be free of any PP and major faction influence.
In fact, our inital answer when asked about becoming a power ourselves long before the dangerous games was "no, we don't want that" but another goal of us is to support fellow explorers in their big quests. So we kept thinking.
And then we came up with the idea to create some PP boni for explorers if our faction would rise. Of course the devs have the last word here and we ourselves are still in the process of brainstorming but that's one of our main reasons for becoming a power: boni for explorers. Also the event itself will be a lot of fun and I am pumped!
One more thing to add is that the new PP faction might, as much as we know (and we don't know much more than everyone else) be separated from SEPP itself. Meaning that our faction and the safe, PP free space we provide would remain but the new PP Faction would rise somewhere else, meaning our two goals won't collide much with each other.
There is still a lot of talking and thinking to do and we will come up with a more detailed statement to that subject later. But that's what I personally can tell you atm. My point of view.
