I have trouble with people complaining that anything silly or fun naming-wise breaks immersion (not just in this case, and this also includes stations named after real people from our time etc as well.)

In the REAL WORLD there is a place called Sandy Balls. This doesn't break my immersion in reality. If you give people the opportunity to name several thousand structures, chances are at least 1 will be given a silly name.

I would vote yes, as it shows that the peoples opinions count. It was a landslide victory for that name. So if they back out now, it only goes to show the government only wants people to "feel" like they have a choice, when really, they dont. Which unfortunately is how it works anyway.
