Just visited a barnacle in JC-U B3-2 2, and there was a base surrounding it. Unfortunately, I was playing with the sound off and was destroyed by a defence turret I hadn't noticed while shooting a drone so I didn't get any screenshots. It was one of the 3 close together though.
I think I'd forgot to sell the last few hundred systems of exploration data beforehand as well. Not too bothered about the credits, but really hate to lose my system maps.

can sympathise with that, i was using a mobile connection for the first 6 months of premium beta it sucked.
Took just short of an hour for my update.
Had a quick look; strangely the Neits fed vs imp CG was stated to be ongoing but it finished today, perhaps the server needs time to catch up.
Palin isn't showing in the list of engineers; shame as I'm sat in OO with a hold full of MAs.
can we store our ships with cargo yet as part of 2.1?? I want to upgrade my Asp & head back to the Rift for another survey trip.

Just been to same place, barnacle site at 49.9102, 102.7163, the site is defended by defence turrets and skimmers. After destroying them, no meta-alloys to be had, just materials and some cryolite mining fragments.
I'd like to know this too. They are not in Cheranovsky City in Ngurri. So where are they?

Not seeing any there. Are they an on again off again thing?
Okay, so I'm not the only one. Did try to get some meta Alloys but shooting barnacles does not give any. Those green-ball thingy give me Uranite, Cobalt or some other crap.

You have to be sent to Palin by another engineer, not sure if it's the same one as in Beta and I cannot remember who it was anyway sorry
You can't store ships with cargo in this update, Sandro did say it's coming and they're looking at it at the moment.Don't think it showed up as POI. Approaching from above just saw barnacle glow, nothing on the scanner.

I can. You can get to Palin via Marco Qwent who can be found via Elvira Martuuk. You need the Sirius Permit for Qwent. But first we need to find the Soonthill relics for Martuuk, wherever they are now. I might try Phekda next as it was mentioned in the Galnet article that first said that Ngurii had them.

Speculation: they're not 'ripe' yet? Or maybe all the meta-alloy components in the ground have been exhausted at those sites?

Essentially an entire site that breaks down the information and makes it easier to digest.
The site will be mobile and table friendly also... so you can check things like the Barnacle List on a separate 'real life panel'.
Please PM suggestions or things that could be useful in this refreshed hunt for Unknown Artefacts and Barnacles.

Could one of you guys clarify: are all barnacles broken or only those for which the coordinates were known?
(rewording) Has anybody found a new barnacle (not on any spreadsheet) and if so, was it broken as well?
it could be a nice way for FD to relaunch the barnacle hunt for hopefully new planet, spawning barnacles, to be discovered soon..?
And I hope that one spawns zinc...
