Off topic, but of interest: no more Bi-Weave shields in any outfitting, Shinrarta included: BUG.
I've submitted a bug report.

yeah all my bounties are gone, that is a bug I can get behind, they were starting to rack up and take up a lot of space on my transactions tab :D

It's not a bug - barnacles can have an empty state now.

It depends on their harvested state, if they've been harvested then no meta-alloys are available, they will regrow over time. Scumming won't work with the empty ones either.

Does anyone know a place to get meta alloys now? I've been to 3 barnacles and all are destroyed, no alloys. I haven't read the whole thread, just thought someone could fill me in.

Man, they really don't make this game easy. So all I've wanted to do was bring 1 Meta-Alloy to felicity farseer, but I've just been frustrated all morning. All previously known Barnacles seem to be "empty" and from what Michael brooks is saying, I have to go find some elsewhere. This has turned something I hoped to do this morning, into something I might get done this week. Yes I am complaining a little, I've really been excited for the engineers and being able to upgrade my ship, but before I can do that, I have to go find new barnacles. That's not what I want to do!
AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH

Edit* Not really angry, just a little frustrated.
