If they will nerf AI because of you.. Yes, you. The guy who grind this game instead of playing it and think that he have Elite rank.. I told that to you. If they will nerf it. It will be the first time i am gona go and grief everyone to death. I never grief. Because it is just not my way of play. But in this case I WILL. I have 2.5k hours in Elite Dangerous, and my rank is Deadly. Not EVEN ELITE. I don't have any problems with new AI, don't have any problem at all. Why? Because i am a DEADLY. 2.5k hours and i am DEADLY. Not like you 300+ hours and ELITE.

Now listen.

The whole problem of this new AI is YOU and YOUR WAY OF GAMEPLAY. You was grind this game to death. Now game GRIND YOU. To death obviously. That is what you get for Robigo runs. Look at your rank now. See? You are ELITE. Don't cry and GID GUD! You are ELITE after all. Or not?

If they will nerf it because of you, i will be        off. And i am sure that it was not be only me. And you better to play in SOLO ONLY by that time. And by myself i pretty much mean every real player in this game who will be        off by that fact.

GID GUD comander!

I fly a Clipper, an FDL, and a Vulture. Why should I go to flying an Eagle?

Just feels like downgrading and all the time and work I invested in the game was for nothing. I'm not restarting from a fresh save. Ever.

It's not a "downgrade". The fact that you even say that shows how much you room you have to grow in this game. The Viper 3 and the Eagle II are both extremely powerful ships in the right hands. Somewhat hard fir the AI to counter in larger slower ships.

Also very cheap ships to learn the actual combat mechanics. If you still don't want to learn them though, you can just regrind to partial Engi mods and do even better than 2.0 vs NPCs.

So there is something for everyone in 2.1. Skilled pilots can just take advantage of it immediately. Less skilled can either fly small ships, or earn the ability to fight master and above AI (based on pure ship stats, sans skill) by hunting mats.

Btw, I am only a semi-skilled pilot, not amazing at all. So I am jumping in an iEagle to gather my mats to reboost my FDL back into an undisputed killing machine.

why dont you try and play with a blindfold , or while juggling knives , just an idea

What are you on about?

he wanted it more difficult ,

why cant we have a level selection , ie easy , medium , hard

where the rewards get increasingly better for harder difficultly of npc available ,

maybe an extreme version that that spawns 10 elite anacondas for the truly good players

I am just few days after Doom 4. And as a DOOMGUY i don't like all of this "OMG IT IS TOO HARD!11" and others whine. So yea.

show me a video then of you playing elite while juggling knives , would be fun

I'm guessing you don't mean Hutton Orbital and any other number of aspects of the game... which is pretty easy, after all. ;)

i wouldnt mind so much , but yesterday i was shot by an enemy whilst in a space station docking ( inside a space station )
he must of shot at me through the gap , ( insane)

Yes, I believe they do, actually, and you don't even need to be connected to the server.

so all my friends can find out how hard it is now

good

anyway ,

im merely posting in order to grind my way up through the ranks on the forum

might be more fun than the game itself

My eleven year old son is really enjoying the new npc AI. He is bounty hunter to the bone and lost interest in version 2.0. Now he is back on track and just because of that new AI. If small children can handle it why can't we all ;)

It is a downgrade. An Eagle dies if you spit at it, and its power juggling issues are even WORSE than the Vulture. It's also considerably slower for not being much more maneuverable. The iEagle is better in this regard, but its still inferior in almost every way to the Vulture. And the only thing a Viper III has on a Vulture is pure speed.

And the FDL is way deadlier than all four ships here.

In both speed and maneuverability, the Clipper beats them all except for the two Core Dynamics ships, which can out turn it. But the Clipper's ludicrous speed and general firepower trivialize their advantages; the Vulture can beat it, but you're still in the situation where better ships are still better.

Going to lower ships is still downgrading, and you also leave out that every ship has its own quirk; learning to fly in one ship doesn't necessarily translate to the same in another ship.

The one upside to getting into these lower cost ships is that they are low cost and low maintenance.

About as long as modern "L2P/Get Gud" gamers would last if they snarked off in the Tudor Court on which that stuff is based. (WHACK!.....thunk)

ASOIAF is based on the War of the Roses. So, the Yorks and the Lancasters. The Tudors came later.

so all I have to say on this matter really is that combat in this game is finally FUN for me. I don't find it too hard I think it's a great challenge, which has forced me to change the way I fight. I did my first few fights fueled purely on adrenaline it was great.

HOWEVER, I will concede that I am not in powerplay, and everything I've heard from people who are is that you just get swarmed by power play NPC's in res sites who just destroy you.

The thing with this AI is you have to pick your fights now, which is fine when you are just a simple bounty hunter, but as a trader/miner you just run and pray, probably time to buy better shields for your ship.

But FD if you are reading this, thank you for making the galaxy feel genuinely Dangerous.
