Is there a setting to change the in-game clock?

For me this is set to GMT and not BST, which means it is 1 hour behind. Is there a setting for this somewhere?

I wondered about that too at first and then realised that the clock is supposed to be universal to all players. One Galaxy, One Timezone.

Plenty of clocks in the real world. In game clock gives every player a common time reference, no matter in which time zone they live.

The short answer is "no", the clock is very much fixed and cannot be changed in any way.

(edit) quite a few people will be sensitive to the topic because there were a lot of threads about the clock in the beta forums. Hiding it, changing timezones, the works. At this point, it's safe to assume that it will remain just the way it is.

Because some missions require you to be at a certain place at a certain time, and that time is always given in GMT (or UTC, when a leap second comes along we can check).

I haven't done those types of missions yet, so that does make total sense if they have time objectives.

I wish we had this simple a temporal record IRL. Do we all need our own personal 10AM anymore? The amount of stupid that occurs from timezones and DST on top of that should push us towards this EZ-Tyme clock for real.
