So I was on my way to mine some Samarium in the Algol system, when (on the way to Algol 4 A) I got a signal source. Flying close to the signal source didn't change anything. It just said 'Unidentified Signal Source'. Nothing else. No 'Weapons fire detected' or 'degraded emissions'.
After jumping in, I was like 'Oh it's just degraded emissions not labelled correctly', but no. The wreckage I found resembled NO current ship in the game. This lead me to think of the upcoming ships or the previous elite ships. After prowling the wreckage, a contact appeared on my scanner. A cobra, unmoving. I went up to it and scanned it. Lawless - Cetus' Bane. I googled Cetus' Bane, and I got only two results for Elite. One of which was mentioned in 'The Missing' megathread. The cobra had a Medusa paint job, with the mouth as the cockpit canopy.
.
Below is a video of what I found. The signal source is still there after I re-logged today and re-jumped into the system. Bug, or the missing? Also, the fact that the wreckage orbits a dark volcanic planet suggests this wasn't just a coincidence...

Side note: The 'old film' filter is only there for a few seconds.
