I searched all 3 landable moons there for about 4 or 5 hours earlier. Didn't find anything though. I will be searching more tomorrow.
I have seen that the barnacles now appear as pairs. The barnacles itself are dropping 2 pieces of meta-alloys or other metals that looks like 'seeds' like people described them.
Now...
Have ever someone tryed to "plant" theses seeds to make a barnacle farm? Dropping these 2 'seeds' at a planet and place which matches to the experiences we made and than coming back later to see if barnacles appeared?

Im pretty sure there are 2 Starship ones. Both for capitals of SOL. So Mars and Earth. Its from Mars.
Hudson is silly. Now he has gone to the Pleiades to look at Barnacles. S6: 7 (Thargoid or INRA?) will drop by and kill him.

To me probes move about an try penetrate areas . UA don't move at all, so sentry or observers are more ab description than probe.haha not to be annoying or anything but your description sounds like probes to me

This quote - from Drew - has *nothing* to do with this (unless he comes in now to state expressly that it does). It was something he said during thread 1 when the whole 'EB, P' thing was flying around; which we learned soon after was just a side show.
Now, it's possible, although minutely so, that he was inadvertently giving clues about UAs and now Barnies; but given that he said himself that it wasn't linked, and that FD would most likely have cheerfully mangled him under the terms of his NDA if he was hinting by the back door, I tend towards it *not* having any relevance.
I planted a MA (seed) at Beagle Point, I have the coords if you want. Unfortunatly, it was encased in a cargo container.
You are welcome to go and see if it has sprouted

The list sheet has a tab listing the materials of each planet where it's been prospected. if there's no info, no-one has provided a material profile for the planet. Chances are I'll be heading out today myself to prospect those missing planets.Thanks for updating the list!
By any chance, are the materials released by these new barnacles, documented anywhere?
If one would be a source of zinc, polonium or anything rare to find, that would be nice
